I have a big jump in my comics values today. My 50 comics I track as a free bronze member a few days ago was listed as a value of around $18,000, which is unrealistic high to start. Today my 50 books value is $30,653. My cgc 7.0 Detective Comics 359 is at fault, valued as $12,463! Wish it was true.

lol. Yeah by the sounds of it there are lots of wacky prices in the guide. I think they just fon't really care at this point any more about trying to keep up with values. The fact that they still have that dumbass algorithm on graded books is just stupid.

I love wacky prices on the guide!! Just Kidding!!! Okay - not really. This forces me to do extra work to go to other sources to check value.

Detective #359 is jumping in value. Comic Book Realms guide puts it at $1400 ungraded. Folks are getting bids of over $370 in 5.0 on eBay. Very hard to value. Seems to be a hot book.

Hey - you're talking to use smart scientific folk here! I like algorithms! But - they need a dose of reality. A small sample can skew the numbers - got to fix that!

That book is going crazy right now. You could still sell it for a nice chunk now (not $12,000). Eventually it's going to level off and
settle in somewhere probably lower than current market prices. But I completely understand if you don't want to sell it. I don't want
to sell any of mine either.

I want to thank you for bringing that to our attention. Anytime, something seems out of whack please bring it to our attention. I have someone on that particular issue right now.

PS. I wish that were true too.
