I don't believe that you can upload photos to the site any more. However, if you use a hosting site for your images currently you click the add reply button and it pops you into a different screen that has a menu button that you click on then you enter the url to the image and that will put the image into the post. You can also type it if you wish but I don't remember the format to do that at this time and I don't recall is it is shown in the the process I explained above.

I have always found that linking to an image produces better images here than uploading as the restrictions for uploading usually shrunk the image down to really silly sizes or created a far inferior image. However, hosting images online can be a burden eventually.
The image icon in the menu is in the middle of the menu options it is bullet list and paint palate options
