I just saw a "variant" cover of Amazing Spiderman #69 and I can't find another version anywhere. First, the title just says Spider-man - Second, Kingpin has a white jacket and purple shirt, and Third, the background is red. Has anyone ever seen this

James, it's not a variant of #69, but a different issue. Marvel used the same artwork on a few different covers. It sounds like you're talking about (writing about, posting about) "Spider-Man Comics Magazine" #6. It was also used, with different coloring again, on the "Marvel Tales #52 Amazing Spider-man #69 Reprint." There may be more, I don't know. Hope this helps.
