I use it it's the best way to let the seller of that particular book know that you're interested plus it has the added value of letting you know when the offer has been accepted as well as when the seller marks the transaction as completed it automatically adds the book to your collection!

I use it all the time.
The advantage is that at the end of the sale the comic is automatically transferred from the seller's collection to the buyer's collection. A neat feature.
