Does anyone have experience grading a comic still in its original sealed packaging? Does it require professional grading or could I do better than RAW without it because of the packaging?

I assume you are talking about a shrink wrapped polybag from the original publisher.
If you are talking about selling it, I would let the buyer take the risk
on the grade. Some buyers may want it in the original packaging.
