This was a fun thread on the old forums, and we're sad to have lost it. So let's start it up again. Here's a look at the CPG offices!
Admittedly, a lot of the comics are in storage, but we have some of our favorites displayed and plenty of statues. We get visitors from the building who wander in all the time to check out the office.

Here's the Lair of Solitude: This is my comics room and pictures of some of my collection. All things comics, toys, comic book movies are kept here. Its my passion project I enjoy curating every day.

The back wall of my basement. Not a very accessible "room" but at least it's some SPACE.
Doodled some sketches of comic covers on some of the boxes. It's something to do while watching TV...

Well it would be nice to use the "attach files" or "image" buttons, just saying it was easier before. Can't be fixed, huh? ....Well anyway let's try the suggestions..... I tried the copy and paste method...didn't work, but the photobucket suggestion did. Thank you...... So, here is my "comic room" edited by rixmaxx on 6/20/2016

I just bought a new house and has a 1200 sqft room which will be the new comic book room/ entertainment room but wife says I can't until I complete 50 other projects. also not looking forward to moving 50,000 comics and tons of collectables. in 1 section I plan to have a few airial scenes hanging from the ceiling. 1 Star Wars, 1 G.I,Joe, 1 and hopefully 1 He-Man. with glow in the dark lasers going back and forth.

Finally starting to get my comic room in order. Here is a sample from one shelf. Hope to put up more later.
I am using the "Add Attachments" instructions from earlier in this email. We will see if this works.
Iron Man #2 - nice lower grade issues - it shows well.
Amazing Spider-Man King Size - this was a bargain in the days of 15 cent comics.
Batman and Batgirl Hot Wheels versus My Little Ponies. No room is complete without Ponies or Adventure Time or sim liar recent Pop Culture item. JIMHO.
Thanks - keep up the good work! KDS edited by kds_comics on 4/9/2018 edited by kds_comics on 4/9/2018 edited by kds_comics on 4/9/2018

For the shelving, I sanded industrial piping down to make it shine and cut old barn wood. It was easy and it turned out great. Our new house doesn't work well with the industrial feel so those shelves are boxed away. We moved about a year ago and I'm still figuring out what looks best in the new room.
Here's another picture of the old room. This was during the process of converting from long boxes to short boxes. I have two of these shelving units full now and need more room. Yikes. edited by ronbatman on 4/16/2019
That's cool Ron. Can't wait to see how the new room looks. I can only dream of having any kind of set-up like that. My unit/flat is just too small, I have a comic book corner Lol.

How do you attach an image? I click on browse and this comes up.
to insert an attachment as an inline-image into your message, add this code: "", "" etc
Where do I add the code?
If you have photobucket or a similar online photo sharing site, upload your image there. Then click on the image button (dead centre of the toolbar at the top of the reply box) and a new window will come up. Put the image url (no additional code) in the window and hit "ok." That's all you need to do. The old way of doing photos doesn't seem to work anymore. edited by CapnDoug on 1/10/2016

Yeah, the old image attaching doesn't work, but we do have an attachments system you can use here. Click on "Reply with Quote" to see the full post options. Quick reply doesn't show the attachments bar. edited by netstuffers on 1/12/2016

That's a bummer about all the old photos being lost. I had an excellent comic room on the old forums a loft conversion. this is my new one, a right old mess but hopefully get some kind of conversion here somewhere down the road.
