Amazing Spiderman #6 - Help with grading, please.

Hi everyone! New to the forum. After numerous years of being out of the comic book game, I've found myself sucked back into my childhood hobby. Long story short, I was going through my old collection and would like to get an answer to a burning question I've had for decades. How bad does the black check mark on my Amazing Spider-man #6 affect the grade/value?

(The dark areas on the back cover on the left are actually shadows, and there is a 1/4-1/2 inch rip in the back cover that might not be evident in the picture.)

Thanks for the response. Yeah, I figured the writing would mark it down fairly significantly. But, as you pointed out, it's still an Amazing Spiderman #6! Thankfully my #4 doesn't have any such writing... :-)
Good idea on the scanner. I'll look into getting one.
