I have a childhood set of comics from the late 60's and early 70's, many that appear valuable although a lot not in the #1 9/10.0 shape, some with pencil marks on the covers. They had been packed away for years, then around 2000 I packed them all in plastic. I had been the only reader.
If you guys can I need some quick advice. I need to sell these now and was wondering what is the absolute best way to accomplish this? Should I take them to a dealer, send a list to Storage Wars star Rene Nezhoda (he said he would take a look), or try to list them here, or elsewhere?

A dealer will pay you quickly but for a fraction of the value. This number depends on the trustworthiness of the dealer and their profit margin. Some might pay you 50%- 30% for key issues while some will treat you poorly.
You can sell them yourself on Ebay or here and earn more money but it will take time and effort.
