Topic: Etiquette in responding to offers

 I'm new to this website and I just received my 1st offer on a comic.
There is a running clock on the offer of 7 days.
Should I respond right away to the potential buyer acknowledging the fact that I have seen the offer but that I would like to wait to see if I receive other offers.
Should I not contact the buyer and wait however long I choose even up to the full 7 days before simply accepting or rejecting the offer before the "Clock" expires?
I realize the buyer can cancel the offer as well if they choose so there's always that to factor in my decision of waiting, contacting, accepting or rejecting.
Any advice is appreciated.
