8/21/2023 Topic: Missing: Spider-Man #11 MICO SUAYAN Virgin Variant collectibleshop	Hi, Good you're using the tools and adding covers, especially the tons of 'exclusive' variants CPG may not get copies of. But for the admins and others sake for time, you don't need to also post stuff here if you've submitted it thru the Missing Variant tool, that's just duplicating the effort and makes people read posts that aren't necessary, no offense. same with doing separate posts for single issues, just put them all in one when you don't have pics to upload with the Missing Variant tool and are alerting CPG of missing variants. 8/21/2023 Topic: Missing: Spider-Man #11 MICO SUAYAN Virgin Variant collectibleshop	ok, understandable, and they do miss or get way behind in adding variants. you do know how to check for what you've submitted? https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=15583 it works when I submit variants and bother to go look again later--either says 'pending' or the pic is approved and showing. but you're not the only one who's experienced super slow approval, but they get hundreds of variants a week these days, and don't get all the store exclusives, so they have to rely on members for many of those. sometimes stuff gets turned down because the pic is too big, wrong format or corrupted, or a Previews solicitation version that's not the production version, and CPG won't tell you that when they turn it down, usually, so you don't know. an admin can weigh in on this. I think it's better to try and contact them directly when something is taking forever to get approved, but it's not against the rules to post about it again (they don't want a second submission tho). I don't submit variants unless I'm doing it to help a member get it done, so rarely go check later to see if it's been added, so not sure how many get lost in the shuffle.
8/22/2023 Topic: Spirit-weekly GRaded collectibleshop	after quickly checking a few issues in the CGC census (which calls them Spirit Section, and I was surprised at how many issues they had), and checking e*** for Spirit Weekly and Section and finding only a half dozen, with no sales the last 2 months, I'd guess there's not enough sold prices for CPG to go by at this point. The few I randomly checked in the census had only 1-2 copies, likely all by 1 or 2 collectors, so if they're not on the market, it's hard to get a selling price. mycomicshop has a few for sale, no telling for how long. it's also likely that this title is not high up on the CPG radar for checking prices due to the low number out there and likely low demand. so an admin can weigh in, but they can't post prices till some sell regularly and they check it frequently to catch those. edited by collectibleshop on 8/22/2023

9/4/2023 Topic: Mighty Marvel Superheroes Fun Book #1, #2, #3 collectibleshop	according to comics.org, these books don't contain at least 50% comics, so that's also CPG's threshold, so likely that's why they're not listed. more 'book' than comics. although, yes, there are other books on CPG that aren't 50% comics too, I just figure those were grandfathered in way back.

9/5/2023 Topic: Mighty Marvel Superheroes Fun Book #1, #2, #3 collectibleshop	that's the way the CPG database bounces over time. As noted, there's all kinds of not-50%-comics-stories books listed, but usually from years ago and they've changed their standards over time. Hell, I found a trading card set listed recently, reported it and it was removed. they list price guide mags that don't have 50% comic stories and are just price guides. plus some old catalogs for super hero stuff. so contradictions abound.
