https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/nira-x-cyberangel---annual/1B/pkvsoqx is supposed to be the B cover, but it's for a Snowman collected edition. attached is the correct B cover according to GCD. and I assume it's also $2.75 cover like the A cover, but it's not shown on the cover. same cover artist too.

there's 2 of those variants (other one has a white border and limited to 1,000), so got pics and submitted them, so eventually they should get added.

CPG doesn't list signed comics (mostly) unless they're by Dynamic Forces, although you may see some others here and there. see this post at the top of this forum: https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=9

so do some net searches of auctions and selling sites and see what people are asking or what it's been sold for. Use the full correct title (as Joe Madureira has signed lots of deadpool comics, some are mini-series like Circle Chase), and you should find some, and prices will probably vary widely.

ok, sorry about that. I missed seeing the faint 'exclusive Snowman 1944' printing on the 1 cover, but GCD usually shows 1 pic with front/back covers when they bother to show the whole thing, so partly their fault too, cuz they don't show the correct Snowman front cover. no one's perfect of course. thanks for checking it out.

thought by now you've seen all the posts about using All Types or Prestige Format in the Comic Type menu? prestige format books now have to be found by using All Types or Prestige Format in that menu, as do other special formats.

ok. I had to mess around with the new search dropdowns to find stuff too, when they were first added, and discovered that 'issue' choice under Comic Type doesn't cover a lot of varieties of issues now, so most times I use All Types when I'm not sure what format something is in (usually for helping others find them), even if it gets me many results.

And under the Price Guide menu at the top of the main site pages there's more ways to find some stuff (you probably know this now), and even then you may have to open the choices to see what they cover, as some are not what I call intuitive choices for some categories. fun with websites...

just to be picky and it may not get handled any faster, but the better forum for this would be the Issues forum, https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/topics.aspx?ForumID=23 as that's for site errors/problems. Bottom of the main forums page.

The correct title is just Limited Collectors Edition. #22 is here: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/limited-collectors-edition/C-22treasury-size/piwvcx
rest are here: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/limited-collectors-edition/wkuv

you have to use All Types or Treasury Size in the Comic Type drop down menu. this goes for the Marvel Treasuries too. they aren't listed by the character name most times.

AZTEC OF THE CITY #1 things, and Play Extra prices

so someone has submitted a cover image of this book, https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/aztec-of-the-city/1/sbrtls , and I saw the cover price is listed as $2.25, but it's $2.75 on the submitted cover. so I didn't nope or yup it, because....

I checked GCD and they have a color version of #1, and cover price of that is $2.25. https://www.comics.org/issue/768265/cover/4/ . so that could be where the $2.25 price came from when there was no pic..

not sure where the black and white cover came from. GCD also has a second series of that title, only 2 issues,. and only the cover to #1, if anyone feels like adding it. https://www.comics.org/series/51109/

so more work for Casper cuz I don't feel like tracking the b&w cover down right now smile .

also, someone submitted $2.50 US prices for the Italian comic Play Extra, and the cover prices are in lira of course (and only lira price is on the covers of one that have pics at GCD, https://www.comics.org/series/112996/covers/ ), and CPG doesn't do the conversion to US prices, so noped those. https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/play-extra/sopql . Publisher is Edizioni Play Press if an admin wants to clear those off the verify list and educate the submitter.

I see the b&w issue of #1 has been added as the pic, but it still shows $2.25 cover price instead of 2.75. Vol 2 has been added, I submitted the prices for those now. But Vol 1 did not get the color cover added yet, so attached a pic on here.
also, the b&w pic appears to need cropping of the white border. likely other members just yupped it without looking too close, so I copied and cropped it and reduced the size a little, and attached it on here.

1978 Marvel Battlestar Galactica Super Special

the link to yours, which is the 8C edition, is here: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/marvel-comics-super-special-a/8C/pmqvix

yes, the indicia is the publishing info inside the first page. Part of the confusion in the titles is that #1-4 were called Marvel Comics Super Special, then #5-on were just Marvel Super Special, which is noted under issue #5. Both series come up when you search Marvel Super Special, so when you see the first one is only a one-shot, you go to the second one. And you've seen that the subject of the story is not included in the title, as the title is just Marvel Comics Super Special. This goes for many treasury and other specials, so try searching for just the beginning of the title when you can't find it by character/team/show name.
according to comics/org, #8 and 8C are both 'tabloid'/treasury size, so those maybe should be cross referenced for the Treasury Size type in the Comic Type list too. https://www.comics.org/issue/31796/

I'm interested in helping with adding missing issues/prices/cover scans/verifying data/variants..

You may know this already, since you've been a member since 2016, but you can add cover prices, cover scans and verify data without being an admin, if you want to, when logged in.

Cover scans have rules, this covers most: Get a good square-on scan, .jpg format preferred, cropped to the edges of the comic. If you can't, then find them on the net, with no watermarks, no signatures, no pro-graded ones, and try to make sure they're a published version, not a pre-production pic (like a Previews solicitation often is), as those get changed in production all the time. Best to resize them if you can to about 350-400px wide, but CPG can do that too. Issues with missing covers will have a link under the missing cover placeholder to submit the cover. comics/org is a good place to find covers ready to go, but they don't have everything either. there's multiple other database sites too, and google image searches too. Don't use poor phone camera or poor digital camera pics.

you can add missing issues IF the title is listed, but if CPG is missing the title, then you have to be an admin to add that to add missing issues. There's a 'REPORT MISSING ISSUE' link on the bottom of the right column in a title's listing for members to use.

Anyone can add missing variants too: Navigate to the specific book that is missing a variant. Select the 'Variants' tab found next to 'Values'.

You'll see a red box titled "Report Missing Variants" on the right side below any listed variants.
Clicking the box will bring up a page where you can upload the pic and enter information specific to the variant you are reporting (not all is required). This includes what it's called, price, artist, publication date, etc. This makes it much faster for the admins to process the request.

You can add missing cover prices (US dollar prices, not foreign prices if that's all that's on the cover, just skip those) by going to the issue and clicking the Add link under the Cover Price heading. It will get put on the Verify Data page for others to confirm (same with covers, dates, creator info, etc), and you can verify other people's submissions there too, just not your own. It's helpful to finish off a whole series that's missing some or all cover prices too, vs just doing 1 or 2 issues that you happen to own, if you have the time or want to do it in chunks if there's a lot missing. https://comicspriceguide.com/verify-data
If you make a mistake, you can remove the mistake by clicking the trash can edit on the right on your submission on the verify page, then click confirm. then you can reload the page to yup or nope again, or go back to the comic listing and resubmit the price/date/creators etc. with the right info. if you yupped/noped wrong, click on the green or red 'points' link next to the submitter's name and a box will come up allowing you to cancel your vote, then you can reload and do it again.

if you want to do more than that, then yeah, you have to be an admin, and provide some credentials of your comics experience, and you won't be allowed to do some things until you get some time in and all goes well. that will speed up approvals of your submissions though, and allow you to do more corrections etc than a regular member. good luck!

if/when they get to this, they're missing the whole series. GCD only has #1, but the 'realm' has all 5 covers. publisher's website doesn't have it, too old I assume. mycomicshop has them too, for info use.

not blind, young comic searcher, just not wise in the way of the CPG search engine. Titan is a UK publisher, so you have to use UK or All Countries in the Country dropdown menu. And it's listed under Titan if you search by publisher name and choose the C titles: https://comicspriceguide.com/publishers/titan
it's here, but only 1 pic so far: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/conan-the-barbarian/phuwbw

Groo Chronicles Hard Cover

collectibleshop

well, the standard answer is that CPG doesn't usually list signed comics, but they do list most of the Graphitti S/N hardcovers here: https://comicspriceguide.com/publishers/graphitti
then if you choose the 'series', https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/graphitti-limited-hard-cover-series/skvxh you'll see the list, but most are missing pics and info as to the title they collect. So #20, if that's the Groo Chronicles one, is at https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/graphitti-limited-hard-cover-series/20hard_cover/rkqujv , but no pic or description. not sure how after all this time most of those don't even say what the book reprints, that info is available, although not on Graphitti's site as they've shut down and only have the Gallery Edition books listed. comics.org has a list but missing many pics too. https://www.comics.org/publisher/610/

I attached a pic of it, so check to see if it's correct. You can copy and submit the pic and publishing info yourself on the #20 listing.
