sometimes they put that info on there, sometimes they don't, may depend on how the variant was submitted and the info given then. helps a little to post links to the books, saves them a little time: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/avengelyne-pandora/1F/phwplry |

yeah, not sure why this hasn't been corrected after the thread from Feb about it. https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/topic16925-marvel-sh-secret-wars---galactus-blue-error.aspx they still have it as '1st appearance of the Beyonder, Voice Only' too, which isn't an actual appearance, so should say '1st mention of the Beyonder' or something. |

Gwenverse #2 Virgin Variant

For future reference, it's faster if you submit it yourself, as it gets them in the system queue for review. Then wait. They have hundreds of variants to add all the time, so it takes time. The usual instructions: Get a good square-on scan, .jpg format preferred, cropped to the edges of the comic. If you can't, then find them on the net, with no watermarks, no signatures, no pro-graded ones, and try to make sure they're a published version, not a pre-production pic (like a Previews solicitation often is), as those get changed in production all the time. Best to resize them if you can to about 350-400px wide, but CPG can do that too. Use the "Report Missing Variant" function found in the listings for individual books. You must be logged in to do this. - Navigate to the specific book that is missing a variant. https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/spider-gwen-gwenverse/2/phwtkvy in this case.
- Select the 'Variants' tab found next to 'Values'.
- You should see a red box titled "Report Missing Variants" on the right side below any listed variants. Clicking the box will bring up a page where you can enter information specific to the variant you are reporting (not all is required). This includes what it's called, price, artist, publication date, etc. This makes it much faster for the admins to process the request.
there's 2 Nakayama variants too. always more helpful to attach pics or links to them. found pics, so attached them for whoever to use. The Virgin one is limited to 1000. edited by collectibleshop on 6/30/2022 |

guess the trade dress one I found was pre-production then. many of the ones on e*** still have that old pic too. wish sellers would update once the comics come out. Marvel apparently changed a couple things from the solicitation pics--title went from being black to white, and they added Spider-Gwen to it. And to make it more confusing, they make the Gwenverse part look like 2 words, with that spider between them. way to go, design dept. |

well, I had looked at number of sites, and found both of what I attached on several sites, so picked one to use. had checked e*** too briefly (comics.org doesn't have it listed either) and what I saw all had the 'virgin' trade with the black text and no barcode (I can't keep track of new books that do or don't have barcodes on the front these days), so figured that's how they did that one. but it's not 'new' now, but I guess all those 'pre-order' listings on e*** are too busy to take a new pic or scan with the actual releases, or even remove the 'pre-order' text on their listings, so by now it just confuses people about how many variants there are. and Marvel's site is already showing #4 and 5 with the 'old' black text and no 'Spider-Gwen' on them, so still misleading. so which cover style will those actually be? who knows. |

UK versions of Silver Age Marvel titles

which issues? CPG has a smattering of UK issues in the US title, which you probably noticed. You can submit yours as variants, with good pics if you can take/get them (cropped to the edges of the comic) by going to each issue, clicking the Variants tab, and clicking the red 'Report Missing Variant' button and filling out that form. eventually they'll add it. you can get some pics for UK copies on comics.org, here's the cover gallery page: https://www.comics.org/series/1443/covers/
in the meantime you can use the US listing for your sale, and just note in the comments that it's the UK edition.
note to any admin that sees this--#18 UK edition has 'UJ', not UK. https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/tales-to-astonish/18A/wlwsit edited by collectibleshop on 7/4/2022 |

your link goes to the wrong book. but it's just an art book with portraits, not a comic, and CPG doesn't USUALLY list those, but they have sketchbooks, so who knows. pic attached. other info: "This special issue presents new portraits of all your favorite X-Files agents, aliens, shadowy figures, and friends and enemies, all rendered by the dynamic hands of a wide array of talented artists!" edited by collectibleshop on 7/4/2022 |

Missing: Lady Mechanika Halloween ComicFest 2018

|
https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/lady-mechanika-hcf/1-HCF/phuyjtq I just searched Lady Mechanika Halloween and they came up, but under the 2017 listing.
note to admins--Searching for just Lady Mechanika shows a Lady Mechanika Hcf 2018 | One-Shot | Benitez Productions | USA | in the results but it says no issues associated with it, with no pic, but you have the pic on the phuyjtq one: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/lady-mechanika-hcf-2018/pkqpls so is that a duplicate entry that wasn't ever 'finished'?
the correct 2018 one is under the 2017 HCF listing, as is 2019, which makes no sense and makes 2018 & 19 harder to find. https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/lady-mechanika-hcf/pjwxor . they should all have their own listing, yes? there's only 3 issues according to comics.org, so no point in adding '2017-current' either, since 2019 was the last one. Or perhaps add '2017-2019 one-shots' to the subtitle info for pjwxor if you want to have just 1 listing.
And why not spell out Halloween Comicfest in the title like you've done with so many others? The Lady Mechanikas don't come up using her name and Halloween Comicfest, but do if you just add Halloween. It also doesn't come up if using Lady Mechanika comicfest, but if you just search 'comicfest', it comes up at the bottom of the results. weird. edited by collectibleshop on 7/10/2022 |

yep, seems to be missing. for future reference, you can submit variants yourself thru the Report Missing Variant button on the issue's listing, under the Variants tab. otherwise, it speeds things up if you can find pics to attach or link to in your post. I've attached a pic for CPG or you to use.
