Jay, we never said that we would fix this. It's a very minor detail that would take too much time to change. $50/year membership fee doesn't pay for an hour of a programmer's time.

There are two ways to obtain your collection
1. One is to export the .csv file by publisher and then blend them together.
2. The second is to print by box

That's it.

I'd like to say something difficult to you. You've bumped this post, brought it up with a condescending attitude, and voted down comments of people trying to offer help. Let it go. If you want to talk to me personally about it, call our offices or send me an email.

As most serious collectors know by now, Star Wars is ridiculously hot and not only the usual suspects.
Star Wars 1,
Star Wars 42
Star Wars 68

The fever has moved into a large part of the Dark Horse Star Wars issues. They have low print runs and they introduce new characters that might appear later. Honestly, I don't see this trend stopping anytime soon. Get out there and find those Dark Horse issues while you can.

OK here me out how come ALOT of the "Hot" books that NO ONE KNEW about and were like $3-4 etc. are now $25 or more???

WTF?? Where are you guys getting your info??? It would be nice to know ahead of time instead of paying thru the ass for a books that was $3-4 a couple days earlier....WTF??

Taskmaster, we are reporting sales data not predicting what book will be hot. So people buy a book and we report on it. Someone knew. For the Loki book, a Disney trailer showed Hiddleston with a "vote Loki" button, looking identical to the cover of issue 1. That sparked a buying frenzy.

I seen some decent prices on E-Bay NOT what your reporting which is way too high...

Spend the time figuring all the NM values not VF or other conditions then tell me what you think the price for Vote Loki #1 should be. We have $22 based on finished auctions.
The range for NM books is $30 down to $19.

Taskmaster, (shaking my head) oh, Taskmaster.
You have made some baseless accusations about our pricing. "Where are you getting these prices from", "possibility" pricing, is it "real". The insinuations that you are making are pissing me off and the entire staff of CPG. We work diligently and take pricing very seriously. We don't makeup numbers or speculate or change prices on "possibility". We use real data, unlike the random things that you are currently spewing. Anyone can say these are fake prices when you aren't doing the hard work of pricing comics. You have given zero evidence that the price changes we made aren't accurate, zero! You've given your opinion but no evidence that refutes our price changes. I encourage you to go look at our new value changes and examine them with real-world sales data.

"They should come up with an explanation on WHY these books are hot and why..."
ROTFL I'm constantly surprised at how much free members want in addition to the free price guide. Can you come over and paint my house for free? Oh, your time has value? Shocking!

Please be very careful with your next comments about our site because you are on the edge.

O.K., well this has become a thing now. Let's all agree to speak to the issue and not go after individuals, whichever side you're on. We don't mind a lively discussion with varying points of view but we don't want personal attacks. Stay focused on the discussion, topic, or disagreement. This is a hobby and we want it to be enjoyable for everyone, new and old.

If there are personal attacks from this point on, I will delete that post.

inventorying Direct and Newsstand comics

First of all, any change isn't a simple flip of a switch. Each book is individually set, because there are differences like Canadian Price Variant, British Pound Variant, Newsstand, and Direct. We talked about this internally when the decision was made to add in the thousands of Newsstand issues. Our thought process was that the most common issue should be first so that more people wouldn't have to go to the variant page. It's not about being back in the '80s or '90s it's about what best suits the majority of people. I can appreciate the consistency argument because we strive to be consistent in our wording and with the organization of the site. To us, this is consistent.

Whenever we make a change, some people aren't happy with the choice. It's our daily life. As leaders, we have to make choices that we think helps the most people. I'm sorry that you don't like the way it's organized because I do value your input, Charles.

Go to the title - like Guardians of the Galaxy
https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/guardians-of-the-galaxy/pkqthu
Then click into a specific issue, like #1
https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/guardians-of-the-galaxy/1/pktscqu
At the top there are four tabs click the "My collection" tab. You can add the book and fill in all sorts of details like the grade. After that don't forget to click the green button at the bottom

Not right now there isn't. I like the idea though and we will talk about it here at the office.

Related - We have been trying to expand price changes that's why we created the different search options on the Value Change page. Personalizing that for paying members would be the next step.
