Marvel Value Stamps and Spidey Stamps
RonbatmanAdministrator
|
Last year or two years ago we added in the Marvel Value Stamp notes to each issue. Which helps people confirm that the book they might buy or own has the stamp or not.
We would like to do the same for the Spidey Stamps in Spidey Super Stories. There are 39 different stamps but we don't know which books they are in yet. If you have any Spidey Super Stories issues please check the back cover and let me know what's on each issue. I'm going to start with the ones I have. Any help is appreciated Ron |

Beren12, You seem to have some really strong feelings about this. Double OUCH. As I mentioned above, we are still tweaking that page and making improvements to it.
We consider what we've already done to be a great improvement because of sortability. If someone only owned Marvel books or Dell books they could specify that. If they knew the title they could look for that as well. It doesn't take very long to scroll through the letters. However, we are going to add more features/sorting capabilities to that page. Ron |

Daredevil 25 is going absolutely nuts right now. We have a responsibility to change the price to reflect the market. However, I would strongly encourage you to wait if you want this book. The time to buy it isn't during this insanity. Buy the first appearance of Electra instead of a book that will drop after the hype dies.

Comic Book Pressing and Cleaning

It isn't posted publically yet but here is the process. 1. Create a physical packing slip for your books to be sent with the package. Include a list of the books, your physical address and your email address. 2. Package the books up and mail them to our offices. Label the package "Pressing" 3. After we evaluate the books, we will email you. At that time we will let you know if a book is a good candidate or not. If not, you will not be billed for it. 4. If you have a paying account with CPG, we will automatically bill you for the books and shipping. If you are a free member we will create an invoice through Paypal. 5. After finished with the pressing we will send them back to you, professionally packed.
All along the way, you will be emailing directly with me. Ron |

We've continued to work on the Recent Value Change page.
https://comicspriceguide.com/value-changes/
Now, when you first go to that page, you will see all the recent changes for regular issues. If you want to specify by the publisher, by letter, or by comic type you can do that as well. I don't see us making any other changes in the near future.

Because of the Disney plus show coming out soon. Both mini-series #1 (1982 and 1985) issues are rising in value. Issue 12 which is the first appearance of their two kids is seeing even more sales than either of those. There are some deals out there still if you buy the run. Ron |

Editors, Assistant Editors, Associate Editors are all fine to add. The verification process includes all paying members on the site so some people might only look at one source to confirm the submission, which can be problematic for editors. That's my best guess as to what happened to your submission Dylman. Administrators and employees of Comics Price Guide will confirm any type of editor. |

She-Hulk is Going Up
RonbatmanAdministrator

We've been going through all the She-Hulk titles and seen some amazing increases. Here are some of the top issues from each series Savage She-Hulk - 25 issues Issues 1 - 1st Appearance 2 24 25 - Last Issue
Sensational She-Hulk is mostly about Bryne and sex appeal. 60 issues Issues 1 34 - Vanity Fair 40 - Jump Rope 60 - Last Issue which is almost the same as the first issue
She-Hulk (vol. 1) 12 issues Issue 1
She-Hulk (vol. 2) is all about Greg Horn. 38 issues Issue 1
She-Hulk (vol. 3) is all about the variants and incentives
I'm sure most of you have seen these books appearing on the recent value page but remember graded changes don't appear on that page. So you have to look at each title and issue to see those increases. (and there are many) Ron |

No gains/losses?

Gains and losses show up for a limited amount of time. So if you haven't checked in a while, that update would be gone but the value would still be in your collection. In those cases, you can scroll through the Recent Value Change page and see the last 30 days of updates.
Another possibility is that the book was a graded issue. Currently, we only show the raw price increases on the recent value change page. Obviously, we change both sets of values, but we don't show graded because there would be a lot of redundancy. I see that as a future option though.
When I personally update values I typically go through a title. For example, I recently went through the first four volumes of She-Hulk. Almost every book in those titles saw some changes but the graded changes didn't appear. The reason I saying this is that when you see 3 or more changes in a title, look closer and you'll find graded changes as well. I try to alert regulars to the forums about what I'm doing with forum posts and Instagram posts. (as I did with She-Hulk, Vision, Scarlet Witch and Daredevil recently) Ron |

Wonder Woman 1984 Review - SPOILERS!!
RonbatmanAdministrator

For the most part, I agree with you.
Although I think you're being a little harsh on the young Diana scene. When she lost her horse she got creative which was clever but she saw the target and choose not to hit it. She knew that she couldn't win if she went back for the target so she took a shortcut and tried to cheat. That honest theme was throughout the movie. So I liked that aspect of the movie.
The thing that I wondered about after seeing the movie was the motivation. With Diana, you know that when given the choice (Steve or Humanity) she will choose the greater good. That made sense. But Cheetah and Maxwell Lord's motivation were difficult to understand. There were holes in the plotline throughout as you mentioned. Disappointing since I loved the first Wonder Woman movie.

selling comics

If you want to sell your comics here you need to be a premium member. We charge $50/year for the top level so you don't have to sell many books to pay for that and it's much cheaper than all the eBay fees.
1. Add books into your collection. 2. Go to the specific issue and click on the "my collection" tab. 3. There you will see a blue button that allows you to list it for sale. 4. Fill in your shipping information. For example - "Shipping in the United States is $5. Books will be safely packed and quickly shipped. Message me for pictures." 5. After someone makes an offer on the book you can accept the offer or decline it. People decline offers if the price has recently gone up dramatically. 6. If you accept the offer, contact the buyer and get their Paypal information so that you can invoice them. Ron |
