10/3/2021 Topic: Incorrect "miss"? collectibleshop	this one is screwy. sites have it listed as Dec 2003 and Jan 2004. Marvel's site says published Jan 12 2004, https://www.marvel.com/comics/issue/336/kingpin_2003_6 , and they have #5 as Dec 8 2003, and the rest of their issue dates coincide with CPG's, so I'd go with Marvel. 1 of those read comics online sites shows that #5 and #6's page 2 both have the same re-cap text and indicia, with #6 saying #5 Dec 2003 in it, but the rest of it appears to be #6. Since they do a re-cap for each issue on page 2, #6's should not be the same as #5's, so either the printer messed up, or that site did, but when you're scanning an issue, you generally keep all the pages together. so my guess is there was a printing error, and #6 was put OUT in Jan as the normal monthly publishing would go, following the other issues. But people reading the indicia quickly may not catch the #5 in #6, so GCD and mycomicshop could be wrong. edited by collectibleshop on 10/3/2021

10/3/2021 Topic: The Adventures of Shoney's Big Boy 34 collectibleshop	also couldn't find a pic anywhere, yet could of almost all the rest. comics.org says this: "A separate Big Boy series was sponsored by at least three Big Boy franchises: Azar's, JB's, and Shoney's. The cover is co-branded in such a way so it reads like "Adventures of Azar's Big Boy", "Adventures of JB's Big Boy," and "Adventures of Shoney's Big Boy"--indicating at least three possible variations of every issue." So I looked under Azar's and JB's here and both of those have no pics of #34 either. #36 on JB's has the same cover as #36 of Shoney's, so likely the same value, if that helps, although e*** sold prices are generally higher even for Fines for the 1970's-80 issues. I didn't bother with google searches for the Azar and JB versions, but you might find a pic of #34 using those names. Leave out the Shoney's part. But odd that no one seems to have #34 pics. Wondering if it wasn't actually produced but they kept the numbering going. JB's has a pic of #35, but no Shoney's, or on GCD or MCS. Seeing as how they were made in the late 1970's and the '60s version seem to have pics, you'd think all the '70s ones would too, as by then some people must've been collecting them. 10/5/2021 Topic: Missing Marvel Issues collectibleshop	always always try fewer keywords. Many titles change during their run and add words like 'new', but are still under the old title name without the 'new'. Defenders 136: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/defenders-the/136/phqpktw Cable -1 is under the 1st series of Cable: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/cable/-1/pkquiq .Searching with Cable -1 brings it up too. same with X-Force -1 and other flashbacks. https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/x-force/-1/phvphp FF chronicles was tougher to find. It's under 'Fantaco's Chronicles' with their other Marvel ones. Sometimes you have to search on the Publisher to find a title. But since all these SAY the team/character name on them, I'd also expect them to be found by that name + Chronicles. I assume the indicia may say just Fantaco's Chronicles, so that's what CPG goes by, but some enterprising admin can add the team names to the search criteria so they come up the way it is on the cover, which is how everyone will look for them. Thanks. looks like you're a paying member, so you can upload pics of your own comics. not sure if there's any checkboxes for UK versions tho, but your collection should then show your own copies. if you've done that and they only show the US versions, maybe an admin can help you. there's tons of pence price variants not listed, takes lots of time. you can help CPG by submitting scans of yours for the database, using the 'report missing variant' button under the Variants tab for those issues. note in 1 of the info fields that it's the pence version. DON'T use that price for the cover price field tho, CPG uses US prices, and they will make a subtitle note for the pence version. read this post too: https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/topic5-guidelines-for-uploading-cover-scans-to-cpg.aspx Take good square-on pics/scans, .jpg format preferred, cropped to the edges. If you can't, then find them on the net, with no watermarks, and no signatures. Use the "Report Missing Variant" function found in the listings for individual books. You must be logged in to do this. Navigate to the specific book that is missing a variant. Select the 'Variants' tab found next to 'Values'. You should see a red box titled "Report Missing Variants" on the right side below any listed variants. Clicking the box will bring up a page where you can enter information specific to the variant you are reporting (not all is required). This includes what it's called, price, artist, publication date, etc. This makes it much faster for the admins to process the request.
