There is a "suggested value update" tab right above listed value and right below the button for the next issue in the series.
Appears for everyone. You need the specific condition of the sold comic to verify the price update for that condition - raw or graded.
I put in some Mystery in Space value updates about six weeks ago and CPG has gotten to them.

series doesn't seem to be listed. tried with and without the hyphen, all countries, publishers, just Dooper, and Duper (1 from F.E. Howard for Super Duper, only #3) and nada. According to MCS and comics.org, the publisher is Able Manufacturing,1946, but CGC says Harvey, but it's not under either on CPG, who doesn't have Able at all. comics.org says #7 and many others reprint Harvey stories, but the indicia says Able Manufacturing. Another site says Able was an imprint of Harvey, but most sites that have the book note the publisher as Able.

this is one of those titles that half the series use "and" and half use "&", and CPG hasn't caught them all yet and cross-referenced them with both words/symbols. There's LOTS of titles like that. Star Wars Previews - First Kanan?

I don't find it here either, even just searching Previews. CPG does list other preview comics and stuff like Dark Horse Insider, so guess this qualifies to be listed, but just isn't. So, if Kanan the Last Padawan is the 1st app within a regular series, then this preview would precede that, so technically his 1st app..This kind of stuff never used to be considered 1st app's, but these days anything goes.
Here's more info for someone to input (I haven't 'verified' this with 10 other sites, but no reason to believe someone with a Star Wars blog would need lie about it):
From http://swcomiccollector.blogspot.com/search?q=star+wars+previews :
"At the Star Wars Celebration 2015 in Anaheim, 2 different versions of the Star Wars Previews #1 were distributed. One preview has a Star Wars: Lando ad on the back and the other has the Max Ride: First Flight Preview #1 on the other side. This version with the Max Ride preview was also distributed at New York Book Con 2015. The version with the Max Ride preview has more pages. Neither version seems to be harder to find than the other and both seem to sell for around the same price on e***."
From a SW wiki site:
Publisher: Marvel Comics Publication date: April 16, 2015 Pages 32
Contents: Star Wars 1 Darth Vader 1 Princess Leia 1 Kanan 1
Writers: Jason Aaron Kieron Gillen Mark Waid Greg Weisman
Cover artist: John Cassaday
Pencillers: John Cassaday Salvador Larroca Terry Dodson Pepe Larraz
Letterers: Chris Eliopoulos Joe Caramagna

Thanks, that was it. Now can't find, Transformers/GI Joe Divided Front #1 also from Dreamwave
Ah, my young Padawan, so much to learn...You must differentiate between the title of the series, and the title of the STORY that may be on the cover too. Divided Front is the story name, so not searchable. See what the indicia info says on the inside, that has the actual title stated.
Use fewer keywords. Just using Transformers/G.I. Joe gets you all those mini-series, then you'll have to click the pics or go by the years to see the ones you want, if the story title is on the cover or you just recognize it
Next to the titles of any of those are links to the publishers, so click the publisher name and you'll get a list of all their titles, which may take a while to load. You can also use the search box for Publishers up there at the top right. Dreamwave is https://comicspriceguide.com/publishers/dreamwave .
The Divided Front one is here: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/transformersgi-joe/1/rhxrmu

oh, there's a way you can correct your mistake, but it's not explained anywhere on the site, but may be in the How To Videos by now. It should just be stated on the Verify Data page by now, but ain't. but here's how: when logged in, go to the Verify Data page, https://comicspriceguide.com/verify-data .
scroll down. under the Creators tab is the list of titles awaiting verification. use the dropdown to see the publishers list, click on the publisher of yours, then the appropriate alphabet letter for the title you need. when you get to it, you can get to the issue number on the list, then you'll see a trashcan icon to the right of it. click that, then click 'continue' in the popup box to verify the removal, and voila, it's removed. only the submitter sees the trashcan icon, so no one else can mess with it.

Because you can provide your eBay profile to cpg to show your auctions. you can do that in the classified ads from what I gather, but not sure how that's done. I see the 'e*** listings' tab on the profile pages, with the list of people's auction items if they have any, but this guy apparently wants to just add them to his collection list to keep track of prices (via importing), not use the classifieds or selling option, so not the same procedure, according to Ron. SPIDER-MAN AND HULK WEEKLY MISSING (?) -FROM UK
collectibleshop
|
Hi Matt, some of the UK Marvel titles are hard to find, as they don't all have the name on CPG as on the comic, like this title. It should be searchable under Spider-Man and Hulk Weekly, as that's what's on the cover and according to the comicvine info, as they say "it renamed itself Spider-Man and Hulk Weekly". I don't know what it says in the indicia though, maybe it still says Spider-Man Weekly, but seems they kept the same numbering, so CPG considers it the same title. Later on it changes to Spidey on the cover, and that also doesn't work in the search engine for the UK. So some admin can fix that and add Hulk and Spidey to the terms for that title.

A few comics missing.

So here's what I found... Marvel All-New, All-Different Universe #1. This is an info guide, not a comic or with comic book stories, so doesn't meet CPG requirements. Albert the Alien stuff. Appears to be yet another self-published Kickstarter deal, which CPG doesn't usually list. Fear Itself Sketchbook. Just a 16 page 'ad' giveaway with some story panels/preview, CPG doesn't usually list those. As Wayne and Garth would say, "We're not worthy!"
3-D Cowboy's Cosmic Convict Challenge. "Produced exclusively for Challengers Comics and Conversation in Chicago for Free Comic Day." So hard for CPG to find out about every exclusive like this. So if you have a good scan or can find one, you can attach it on a post here, with all the publishing/creator info you know, and they'll list it eventually.
Avengers (Vol 8) #17 (C2E2 Variant cover) . They missed this, so use the "Report Missing Variant" function found in the listings for individual books. You must be logged in to do this. Attached below is a pic to use.
- Navigate to the specific book that is missing a variant. https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/avengers/17/pktwcsp in this case.
- Select the 'Variants' tab found next to 'Values'.
- You should see a red box titled "Report Missing Variants" on the right side below any listed variants.
- Clicking the box will bring up a page where you can enter information specific to the variant you are reporting (not all is required). This includes what it's called, price, artist, publication date, etc. This makes it much faster for the admins to process the request.
See this post for how to check on variants you've submitted: https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/topic15583-new-feature-related-to-variants.aspx
"Master's of the Universe Rise of the Snake-Men he-man.org variant," do same as Avengers #17, submit it under the Report Missing Variant tab. (no apostrophe in Masters) Note the "Variant cover art by Nathan Baertsch, limited to 500 numbered copies". https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/masters-of-the-universe-rise-of-the-snake-men/1/skrxmq . Unsure why the All New All Different doesn't count but all the other Marvel Handbooks and Who's Who are included? And many other sketchbooks like Justice (DC) and House of M are included?
They've been known to change their requirements over time. There's lot of stuff like those 'info' issues that they USED to list, but no longer do for newer issues. I found some art portfolios from way back listed too, and those aren't comics, and there's a ton more of those since then, and they rightfully don't list them. Not sure why the others are listed to begin with either, they clearly say on the cover it's 'X number of plates of covers/art', so not comic book pinup issues like Marvel Swimsuit.
Sketchbooks can vary for why they include some and not others, so some admin will have to tell you why the Fear Itself isn't listed, but it's not worth anything, and publishers put out lots of these freebie pamphlet "comics" to promote them in shops, so CPG would have thousands to add if they listed them all. But you'll see promo/newsletter/reference type stuff from years ago listed (like Dark Horse Insider, 1983-94 Marvel Age In-House promo/Newszine, etc), but they stopped listing lots of that over the years, there's too much 'real' stuff coming out to worry about every single promotional or reference material item too.
The Kickstarter stuff can get added eventually, sometimes, but there's a ton more not listed than listed, and too many coming out constantly (that fail or sell very little) to bother with most. It takes valuable time to try to find sales figures and values for that stuff that could be used to get mainstream titles listed, so don't hold your breath on Kickstarter stuff.
now over to any admin that wants to chime in... edited by collectibleshop on 7/28/2021 |

this has been asked about before. the title is W.E.B. of Spider-Man, not Web. It's here: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/web-of-spider-man/pkyqkp
maybe eventually CPG will cross reference W.E.B. and Web so it shows up with either spelling. It would help if Marvel would make it clear on the cover that it's W.E.B., with the periods, but it probably does in the indicia. |
