Hey Guys. I recently came across "Chuck Norris: Karate Kommandos" Star Comics set. Got me thinking about his first appearance in comics. Does anybody know where it was? Google was no help. I have him in "The Deadly Hands of Kung Fu #20" 1976 which would be about right also.. is this his first cover appearance??. Anyway thanks for any help you may have. |

Thanks. yeah I wasn't to through with a search Lol. If I'd spent hours looking to find it but being the legendary Chuck Norris I'd thought it would be obvious but it wasn't. I think he would have been in heaps of magazines from the day but actual comic book...?? Anyway. Least you confirmed what I have got. I'll add the info to that book.
I have a few more that I need info for, I should start a thread for them. Use the knowledge that's here. Do that later.

Just a fun comment to make... It's almost as if we need a "School of Comic Book Collecting" to happen. How many times I've seen people ask I can't find or where is it listed, It's called this but yours is different etc etc.. I remember one guy some years ago here ask I can't find this Superman book, That's cause it's not called Superman.. But "Action Comics Starring.. Superman!!" he was very confused about the whole thing 😄 |

I mentioned this one in the old forum. Back years ago I was at an LCS in Sydney (sadly closed down now). Top floor was the comic books, bottom floor was toys shirts and odd collectors stuff, most looked second hand & not worth alot. I bought a shirt, Whilst waiting to pay for it, I was staring at the guys very bald head (behind the counter) I look over his left shoulder and saw the Kiss Blood issue... I did the same as glorkar did. Could not believe my luck. Not a book that just pops up. Bought it and still own today. |

Hey Jennypooh1025.
Don't know much about your copy of Beyond the Unknown #25 but double covers are kind of common (meaning, There not numerous but not rare either). It's a printing press error. I dare say that particular issue is nothing special that I can tell, You've simply come across an oddity with-in the comic book industry. Hang onto it there pretty cool to own. Some collectors love them others don't really care about them.

Ok then, Did not know about the third one Lol. There where two Whitman listed. No worries, I left the whitman under the Publisher "Whitman". I changed out the other whitman "reg. series" to the black UPC cover. I can't remove books so I hope that will do. I also shot of a message to Ron explaining what I did. |
