5/5/2020 Topic: Story Arcs? Ronbatman Administrator	Story Arcs are an ongoing project. Not sure how things look for non-administrators but I think this is how it should be. Pull up a specific issue like Night Thrasher #1 https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/night-thrasher/1/powp On the "details" tab below the creators, there is a story area. It should say "add". That will allow you to submit a title and summary of the story. Then it goes through the approval process. R

5/17/2020 Topic: Grade price source? Ronbatman Administrator	Hey JC, I can answer this question. We look at closed auctions, items sold on our site, Heritage, Comic Link, etc. Graded books specifically are a weird thing because a raw book and a graded book can be the same price. At the 9.8 and 9.6 level graded are always worth more in the free market. I've often seen graded 7.0 go for the same or less than a raw book. It doesn't always make sense but we just report the market we don't manipulate it (Some 90's era price guides were known for manipulating the market)

5/20/2020 Topic: Variant Submission, Annual and Specials Ronbatman Administrator	In the current market, there is an astronomical number of variants produced each month. The most difficult variants to keep track of are the artist and comic shop exclusives because there is no master list for these issues. (unlike the Diamond distributed variants) We've spoken with several stores about sending us their variants but they are reluctant to help us since it doesn't make any money for them. We need your help as collectors and fans of certain artists and stores. Step by Step 1. Go to the specific issue that needs a variant. Like Spider-woman #1 https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/spider-woman/1/pkyritx 2. Click on the "Variants" tab below the title. 3. Below the last variant is a red button called "Report Missing Variant". Click on that button. 4. Fill in the boxes and submit a cover scan. The picture should have no flash, cropped to the edges of the comic, with no watermarks. (like MyComicShop) After submitting the scan, it will go through our approval process. We cannot make any promises as to when the variant will be added because it depends on the number of variants submitted. Notes About Annuals and Specials: When people first join Comics Price Guide they have trouble seeing the Annuals, Specials, Trade paperbacks, King Size Issues. 99.9% are in the system. Let me walk you through how to find them. As an example, we will use Avengers Special #2 1. Do a search for "Avengers" 2. Since the Avengers Special is dated 1968 you should choose Avengers vol. 1 https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/avengers-the/sixv 3. Below the title you will see alternate publishers (for non-US versions) then 3 tabs - Price Guide, My Issues and For Sale. Then you will see a series of buttons specific to that title. This Avengers title has Issues, Annuals, Specials and King-Size. Click on Specials. 4. The second item down is the Avengers Special #2 that you were looking for. Thanks, Ron
