so, not shipped=not listed yet. not sure about the other variant you posted.

generally it tells you on the inside first page in the publishing info at the bottom. if you don't have 1 in hand, according to mycomicshop, they say: "First printing cover with Transformers ad on back cover." "Reprint cover with Michael Jackson Moonwalker OR Rambo III ad on back cover." So check the back cover, assuming MCS is right. google is your friend too. |

According to mycomicshop, all first printings were destroyed, but the reprints have the same cover, so not much point in a 'missing' reprint, they're ALL 'reprints' for this issue. it's here: https://comicspriceguide.com/collection/revolutionary/rock-n-roll-comics/4/pluxnu#_profileTab |

have you asked the creator at Comix Tribe? They should know how many they put out and what variants there are, then it's a matter of CPG updating the listings some year. email address for Tyler James is near the bottom of the Red Ten page at http://www.comixtribe.com/the-red-ten/ . Very odd their site has no pics of #7-10 but CPG has of 7,8,9. |

COMPLETE ELFQUEST [FATHER TREE PRESS] SOFT COVER 8

after some googling and finding it on Amazon as "Elfquest Reader's Collection #8: Kings of the Broken Wheel", I found it on CPG:
https://comicspriceguide.com/collection/warp-graphics/elfquest-readers-collection/8/whpvlt Blame the publisher for changing the series 'title' after 7 issues I guess.
hardcover version is under ELFQUEST (HARDCOVER SERIES) , just to make it more confusing: https://comicspriceguide.com/collection/warp-graphics/elfquest-hardcover-series/8/ykwtiy
And you'll want to remove your email address from the post unless you like spam. CPG doesn't need your email addy, it's on file with your membership, and they'd answer you on here anyway. |

Adventures of Superman #500 five autographs sealed
collectibleshop
|
First, this is mostly the wrong forum for this question, but moot anyway, as CPG doesn't list most signed comics except for Dynamic Forces Variant covers, and that's just to list the variant, not because it's signed or not. See this post on the correct forum (Database and Missing issue discussion, under the Price Guide Research section): https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/topic9-signed-and-remarked-comics.aspx
it's also covered under the FAQs link that no one can find under the About link along the top of the page. https://comicspriceguide.com/faqs
There is no guide pricing for any signed comics, it's too varied a market. look them up on 'that' auction site's SOLD listings to see what they've been getting lately, or do google searches to see what others are asking (but possibly not ever selling at those prices). 10,000 is a lot, so likely there's examples on auction fairly regularly. The comic itself isn't worth much in the real world (hugely over-ordered and over-printed), so the autographs are the only thing giving it value, then it depends on who wants them. edited by collectibleshop on 12/26/2017 edited by collectibleshop on 12/26/2017 |

they show for me. searched for harley quinn #1 and it shows me the1a-1g variants, plus the trade and hardcover. same with others I tried. they took away the 'show variants' checkbox and tabs for annuals, trades and hardcovers it appears, and now list all those with the regular title results. on the individual issue listings, there's a Variant link on the menu to click too, and that loads the variants there too. edited by collectibleshop on 1/6/2018 edited by collectibleshop on 1/6/2018 |

still not sure what the prob is. There is no extra click to see variants that wasn't there before. On individual issue listings in the price guide, the old version had a Variants tab too, just like the new version, both require a click to show the variants, and at the moment they load quickly for me, although the search itself is slow tonight. The old version had a checkbox on the search form to show variants, and many people missed seeing that (it was always checked on for me, but that may be due to a cookie remembering my preference), so now they just show the variants by default, just scroll down the page.
Again, my search for harley quinn #1 shows me all the various editions and variants in the result, so nothing extra to click on until you want to see an individual issue. clicking on the 2014 regular #1 gets to its page, then clicking the Variants tab (again, just as with the old version) pops in the variants again. but they were already showing on the 1st results page.
Just tried Walking Dead #1, and holy crap, how many variants do people need to make/buy? You have to scroll down to see most, but they're listed right off in the search results. so not sure what you're looking at. I'm using a desktop, so maybe the mobile version is different? |

Uh Bryan, I see no such checkbox on the new version's search form. The search results seem to automatically list the variants now, which is what I told CyberComics last night.
other probs I emailed about last night: the new forum login just above the posts/list of forums area doesn't work. keeps telling me to fill it in even tho it is filled in. happens with Firefox and IE11, and I tried resetting the cookie etc, didn't help. can't find the way to subscribe to posts like it says in the FAQs. no such links show. text colors for the forum posts 'info' on the main forums pages is terribly light and hard to read. that's the 'latest post time/date/views/who it's from' stuff. why is it so light gray?
still can't edit my profile to add my homepage link. still can't delete sent messages. still no checkbox to filter out the ebay classifieds.

well, it doesn't seem to be listed under anything. The cover seems to say the title is 'CPM Manga #1', but it doesn't come up under that, or by that publisher's list, or by Fantasy Manga, or by Central Park Media as a publisher, much less any of the Dark Angel titles. So you're right, one to add to the database some year... |

here you go: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/comics-greatest-world-cinnabar-flats/4/whssmu
you can see by the URL that it's under Comics' Greatest World: Cinnabar Flats, which is one of the several series of CGW with those intro issues, so you just have to look thru them to find it, as it's not the same as just the Out of the Vortex title. Not very efficient, but that's how these are listed. Same with CGW Ghost etc. And the apostrophe goes after the S in Comics, but it works without it. edited by collectibleshop on 1/11/2018 |

I have no thoughts on when anything might get added to the database. I have nothing official to do with CPG, so only Bryan (bneely) can answer your question. I say load 'em up as you have time and let CPG sort it out and list them as they update things, and don't hold your breath... |

Need to be a Silver member to upload scans?
collectibleshop
|
according to the FAQs page: https://comicspriceguide.com/faqs
"If you see an issue without a scan, click on that issue number. You will see a link to upload a scan. Once you upload it and it is approved, you will be able to see your contribution. CPG keeps track of how many scans each member uploads. If you wish to upload personal scans of your issues, you may do so in your collection management. Select the book you wish to upload a cover for, and click the "Upload Cover Scan" icon. This feature is available for silver and gold members only at this time."
so according to that, the system is correct. so if you want to lobby for a change, your post should go on the CPG Q&A board: https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/topics.aspx?ForumID=14 , but CPG may or may not reply. They probably changed things to avoid spamming or other 'problem' scans being uploaded by trolls etc with free accounts. Paid accounts have more validity and identification for CPG to police, and an 'investment' by the user, making is less likely to mess with the site. May be other reasons too. Can't have everything... edited by collectibleshop on 1/14/2018 |
