Is it possible to add a search by year option as well? For example, when searching for spider-man #1 FCBD it's time consuming to go through all 20 pages to find it... let alone when you can't see the covers.

Thanks in advance and for all you already do.

Thanks Pacino... WAY too many X-Men #1 and with there already being X-Men Curse of the Mutants already out there, I assumed it would be under that as well.

Help needed choosing perfect issue for signing

In all honesty, with the way prices for comics are fluctuating, even here they're having issues updating all the changes. I recommend going into eBay, looking up the title and number for each of your comics and looking at the "SOLD" auctions. From there you can get a general idea as to what the current price is for each comic. From there you can evaluate each of your comics, look at the condition and determine if it's worth your time and money to get it cleaned, pressed, signed and graded.

Not necessarily an issue but....

With the constant change in prices and the recommendation for corrections, I feel that by the time you guys get around to them all, they've either gone up or dropped dramatically. Would it be advisable to have a group dedicated only to the adjustment? I would have no problem being one to help in this matter. Obviously even if prices are changed one day, the next day they can go up and down dramatically but they should be closer to the "current" value.

Determining "current" value of comics

Draven68
Draven68
I've been a member here for a number of years and I've come to the conclusion that almost everyone has an opinion as to where to go to get the most current (valid) price for a comic. I'm just going to throw it out there, that I go to the often cursed eBay. I personally go there because there I can see the most current BULK average sold prices of that particular comic that I'm trying to get a feel of it's value. More times than not I see members complain that this IS NOT a good place to go for what they deem "the correct current value" of comics.

So that leads me to the question... Where exactly is the go to place to get "the correct current value" of any comic? If there's a better place that can be trusted and is current, I would love to know. This way I'm not wasting my time, as well as CPG, when I'm requesting an increase or decrease of a particular comic.

Thanks in advance and good luck in your search for your holy grails.

Comics Going Up...Where is it coming from????

Dear Taskmaster,

I've come to see that you're again requesting the same information of WHY, WHEN, WHERE. The fact is, you're in the same boat as everyone else and no one is trying to keep any secrets. For example, aren't you posting in the forums under "Market Watch"? Isn't it obvious that we post things here when we see an increase in prices for a particular comic? We often times post when we see a big change. Do we know every time why? Of course not, but we share it here for everyone to take note and for those that take the time to read the comment and want to take advantage of it. Please do the research like everyone else. Do a search on the internet for "comic book speculation" (Speculation - invest in stocks, property, or other ventures in the hope of gain but with the risk of loss.) There are a PLETHORA of websites available, there's youtube channels, podcasts, knowledge of certain comic book movies or shows coming out, certain facebook pages... etc. available to anyone that takes the time to look for themselves. There you may be able to gleam the insight and answers you're so desperately searching.

Star Wars Previews - First Kanan?

I recently bought some comics and in the lot was "Star Wars Previews 001". I can't find it on the site and I also bring up the question if this is in fact the true first appearance of Kanan Jarrus. This actually has the preview of "Kanan the Last Padawan". which from what I guess is what they're saying is the first appearance. I should also state that he does appear in the book.

Can someone please let me know what the difference is between 1B and the retailer incentive? I've compared both covers from the site and they look identical and have the same ISBN.

Good morning,

I have a graded 9.8 correctly added to my account but the value for it shows the value at $330.00, which is the amount for a 9.8 raw. Also for the past week or so, the website is VERY slow to load or navigate through.

When you search for this comic it shows the sketch cover. It and the description that is missing is incorrect and the same applies to when you click on the link to view the comic. When I open up "Your collection", the comic that shows has the correct cover with the description of it being a museum cover is also there.

Should state Tyler Kirkham as cover artist, not Tayler. This misspelling is in the comic info.
