Issue with verifying comic.

Hey guys, Thought i'd post this here. I'm having an issue with 4 different books...
Spec. Spider-Man #231 Spider-Man #65 Sen. Spider-Man #1 ASM #408
but I'll talk about one of them. For example... Amazing Spider-Man #408. There is listed on CPG a White Variant limited to 1000 copies. But there is also a "Poly-Bagged Camelot cassette edition" of the same cover (which I added all 4 of them) limited to 1000 copies. https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/amazing-spider-man-the/408B/pivxou https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/amazing-spider-man-the/408C/phurnup
Are they the same book or was there a separate non-polybagged issue that came out that was also limited to 1000 copies. If not then they need correcting.
Let me know guys what you think, Thanks -Gil. |

there is a newsstand and direct edition of each one of these they have a different barcode number. as far as being poly-baged for both versions I am not sure but I remember Getting my copys poly-baged with a cassette when it came out edited by lokyel on 8/19/2021
Hey lokyel. Oh right, Newsstand copies. Wonder if they were limited as well or just normal newsstand issues. |

Hi, guys. Signed onto the site just to ask a question here. Anyway, I was wondering about moisture-proof containers myself, since I live in a humid area and I've had some dealings with humidity damage and my trade paperbacks.
What do you guys think of this box: https://www.amazon.com/Leffis-Moldproof-Moistureproof-Collapsible-Container/dp/B0977ZM4L2/ref=pd_ybh_a_4?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=2TRJ534KV7AK2X5D9K5M
Stumbled across it by accident. To be clear, I was thinking of putting trade paperback books in it. Do you think it would do the job or would there be the gas problem mentioned before? A moisture-proof case would be amazing in case the power goes out and I can't run a dehumidifier.
It looks a little flimsy. Hope doesn't rely on the books them selves to strengthen a second container on top or so on. Can't hurt to give it a go. I would suggest not to place another one on top. I don't use the BCW plastic containers due to it not being able to absorb moisture/breath. Where as the thicker carboard will absorb moisture. In your more humid area, Have you sealed your TPB with quality bags and boards... E. Gerber. (yes there expensive). don't have a problem with my carboard boxes, still using all my original ones from the mid-late 90's. edited by Gilgandra on 8/22/2021 |

A good mate of mine gave me these pics of 2 different carboard storage boxes. One with thin and other thicker carboard. Just a reference for you to look at. I use Comic Defence Boxes. I have them up to 5 high with no problems, There very strong. Hope that helps.

Could find these three issues in the database. Any suggestions?
note to CPG: Cover title says Spider-Man AND X-Factor, but you have it as Spider-Man/X-Factor. Everyone else has it with the And. Doesn't seem to make a diff in a search unless someone uses 'exact phrase', and some might. Not sure why OP couldn't find it though. It doesn't work with 'exact phrase' at all, with or without the slash and colon, even copying/pasting the current listing title, how is that? edited by collectibleshop on 8/25/2021
I would have to agree on that. A lot of the titles with the "/" in place of "and" was put in many years ago. There are a few here and there that have this problem. Also to check. I looked up the indicia of this book, it does have the word "and". I fixed it, Put "and" in. |
