Speeding up searches

Is it possible to add another search criteria when looking for a specific comic? For example I have an a Vampirella Vol 5 #1 and for that alone I go through a couple pages looking for a particular cover (because sometimes the name of the cover artist isn't mentioned)? For example if the volume of the comic is known, that would seriously speed up the process.

When I download the file, when it appears in my messages and I try to open it, it goes to a white screen. Shortly afterwards, the message will disappear as if it was deleted. Of the 123 downloaded only Caliber Comics has this issue. |

I have a large collection and the running values are sooooo much easier to see what is current and keep track of; I keep track often due to my large collection; Guess I will schedule time check once a week now??

On the homepage, in the upper right hand corner, click on your profile name to get the drop down. Click on gains/drops and it will show the most recent posted. |

Taskmaster you or someone deleted your comments before I had a chance to reply but what I understand is that this sight offers each member the opportunity to suggest a change in the value of a comic. In order for them (the moderators) to legitimately make the change on an assumed informed opinion is for the member to provide proof via a link to the website that validates their suggestion. At that point they will review the request and if deemed valid ( a reputable source), the adjustment up or down will be made. You had commented about having proof in your statement that was deleted... well provide it in your suggestion to make the price change. Everyone here is treated fairly and equal. Your opinion counts just like everyone else's, which makes the site invaluable to so many.

Sure you can complain that you don't understand why certain books go up while others don't. No one person can predict the future, just hope they're making the right decision when they make that next purchase. Accusing the moderators that they're increasing prices for no reason makes no logical sense for having this site. No one could trust them and they would lose paying members. Do your due diligence, research these sites that have proof that you deem more valid than here and compare it to others like eBay (most recent sold items, not items for sale). |

First appearances of characters that may show up in shows/movies, storylines can have the same effect. Just do an online search for "comic book speculation" and you'll find PLENTY of sources for why certain ones that you deem common or worthless, actually have true value to a lot of collectors. This trend has been going on for decades and I have a plethora of comics that show that I'm willing to listen and at times, buy some of these same comics in hope that they do make my investment worth it.
After doing your research and you still feel they're worthless and not worth your time, move on to what you feel is best for your buck and leave them to those that see value in adding them to their collection. |

Ron, I agree with all you had to say about the 9.9 and 10's. I may be in the minority with this but I don't see a reason why you wouldn't just remove those from the "raw" portion of those values and keep the ones for graded (if possible). I've taken the time to catalog all my graded comics (to the point of adding the serial numbers) on your site and also use it as reference for insurance. I hope you take my thoughts into consideration and we can find a happy medium.
If you do decide to go the route of removing them all, please let me know what I can do to have mine added back in.

I have quite a few I'm trying to sell. Notti and Nyce, Ursa Minor, Theory of Magic, Valkyrie Saviors, Rem 8, Persuasion... Some graded, museum, signed, metal and chrome covers. Are any of those of interest? I also have a couple 9.9 CGC graded Savage Eve that are signed. |
