O.k. then this is something that has been on my mind for many years. The movies you wish they would make but so far haven't.
They would have to be big budget & done with relative respect.
Here are mine:
*The sinking of Edmund Fitzgerald (if done right, Damn...) Happened the year i was born. *Lasseter's gold reef (Australian Legend). *The Cannibal Convict (An incredible True story from the worst prison colony in the world, Sarah Island in Tasmania). *The life of Kurt Cobain. *Boudica. *Elizabeth Bathory. * Socrates. * Diogenes. (A founder of Cynic Philosophy, Lived in a barrel, walked around with a lit lantern during the day, When asked why. He replied: "i'm looking for an honest man" Lol.) Had an amusing encounter with Alexander the Great ...The man is a legend. *A movie of each of the first 5 emperors of Rome (i could talk about this for 2 weeks straight... We'll leave it there).
What are yours? |

UXM #214 Cover Inker

Bob Wiacek is not listed as the cover inker. But as the interior pages inker. Your right for Art Adams & Barry Windsor-Smith for the cover.
When adding Cover Artist, This means Pencils, Inker, Colourist etc. When adding Inker, This means interior pages.
It does need to be more clearly defined.
Hope that helps. edited by Gilgandra on 4/19/2018 |

You guys have me looking for some nice shows, (I don't have a pay TV/Cable) so i wait for the series to come out.
The Frankenstein Chronicles season 1 & 2 (2015 & 2017). I've seen the first season but not season 2 yet, Can't wait.

Luke Cage was good. That scene where he looked like the 70's version was great. Will be happy if it sync's up with Daredevil & Hell's Kitchen at some point in the future. The Expanse is really good. Only just started it Thanks Mr. Crow for getting onto this. Can see it being a long series

Electric Dreams is a true Sci-Fi series. All episodes are stand alone. Lesbian Super-cop, God like being that help's out the one's who have made mistakes in there life & Alien Body snatchers taking over adults where the kids group to fight them. Good actors & creative sets.

Looking at guide DETAILS of Power Girl 27, it has the wrong cover artist listed. Should be Warren Louw. Also the values of the graded values seem too high. A cgc 9.6 is being offered by two sellers on eBay only for $170, guide lists value of a slab of 9.6 as $629.

Hey HR. I removed the wrong cover artist & tried to enter Warren Louw. But the database did not have that name for some reason. I sent it to be accepted so it can be entered later.
Sorry i cant touch the prices Lol. |

Does anyone know what the cover price for "ROBOCOP: CITIZENS ARREST #1 Jim Towe Virgin Cover (1 in 15) is. It does not say on the book. Is this a "you decide what it's worth book". Trying to add info for it that's all. CPG has it as $10 for NM copy

Great question HR. and here we go!
1) Pay rent before any purchase 2) Find some more bronze age horrors. 3) I try not to add goals when it comes to comic books. I like to go on instinct. Chance it, Most times i come out on top. 4) Find a copy of "Superman: The Man of Steel # 17" second print ...Oh! just found one, By chance will post soon. 5) Find a few key issues i've been after. 6) Re-post all my pictures in my back issues thread. As photo bucket sucks dog balls (big hairy sweaty ones) it may take awhile for this to happen. 7) Keep posting on Tex's blog page that is where my latest post are. https://texscomicsnewsandreviews.blogspot.com.au/ 8) Hope that some older CPG members come back. Unknown (Mitz), Bounty, Robbie (master collector himself) among many others. I miss you guys. 9) Finish "My Display Case". I have to go through a S*#% load of boxes to find those books that are worthy. 10) Buy a major book or many small books at "Supernova" Sydney this year. Going in blind, Wish me luck.
I thought i add this for fun. My Non-Comic goals for 2018.
1) Find a boxed set of "Rockford Files"
2) Get back into playing some games. Just bought a "Nintendo Switch" Oh boy is it good. 3) Get a light bar for my Hilux Ute. 4) Buy Tickets for the extreme Ghost Tour at Manly Quarantine Station. Sydney. 5) Get my 1968 Cotton Gin blue-prints framed. edited by Gilgandra on 2/2/2018 edited by Gilgandra on 2/2/2018

BOOM! Like many other companies have cover prices on most variants as the standard price. You do have a few options to find out for sure:
1. Look at the publisher info inside. Sometime the prices are listed there. 2. If you get Diamond's Previews magazine and you have the February issue it may say in the listing. 3. Ask your LCS if he has his order book and ask him/her if they have that specific variant list and if it has a price.
Barring that it is fairly safe to assume that it is the same cover price as the standard edition as that is the norm unless it was something exclusively issued under some other company/retailer's name. edited by oxbladder on 5/17/2018
Thanks OX, I didn't think of previews. I tired previews online & didn't see it anywhere. Checked inside the book again no price. Tried couple other sites with varying prices. Comic book realm had it as $3.99 (but worth $15). So as most of these variants it would/probably be normal cover price, So it's now $3.99 |
