I can find reference to issues 6-8 in print, but not 1-5.
https://valaverse.com/collections/comics only has 6-8 for sale right now.
There's a copy of 6 and 7 for sale on eBay.

Been a while since I've suggested a first appearance note, let alone one on an older book.
Just grabbed this out of a dollar bin:

Mine looks to be 100% preproduction due to the text above the title.
This is a foil cover, so that's why there's such a variation of what it looks like in photos. All depends on how the light hits it.
So while Casper's is /technically/ correct, it just looks like butt imo.

I know it's not the most popular pick, but I really liked Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Ah, I see now. Didn't think to look at the "Facts" section of the details. I'm used to seeing them as a subtitle up top.
Thanks!

I can't seem to find any actual photographs with green text, so I'm guessing that was a preproduction image.

It always helps to post a link to the book or series you're talking about.
I'm guessing it's the variants of this book here: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/realm-the/2/pkpwjsq
C and D do appear to be duplicates.

Warlord Vol. 1 "Annual" Missing

Ah, to be new to the site again! Brings back memories.
This is definitely here. Issue 2 is specifically here: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/warlord/2/phrvhxt

There are a couple of ways you can find it in the search.
1. Enter just the title in the search box. Click on the result that best matches. On the page with all of the issues, look at the top, under the series title, but above issue #1. You will see a set of tabs. One of them is for Annuals.

2. On the main search box, enter the title, the issue number, then change the "Comic type" dropdown to "annual".

Hello Darkness #3-RU has the cover artist name spelled wrong in the subtitle. It's listed as Paulo Rivera > should be Paolo Rivera (third letter should be an O not a U)

Missing title

This would have been a tricky one to find without knowing some arcane knowledge picked up along the way. Especially as the indicia states the title as "Rudyard Kipling's Mowgli Jungle Book" and there appears to be zero reference to "Four Color".
I know it's a thing, but if you didn't know, how would you know? You know?
Anyway, here's the link to Dell Four Color issue 487:

Default search should be USA only like it was

Just another user, so this is just my opinion.
I honestly did not notice a change. I think it makes sense to have it default to a wider area though.
On the forums we frequently see post from users who can't find books, they claim they aren't in the database. Often the books are published by Titan, which is UK based. Titan publishes a lot of titles.
Having the search default to include UK means those books show up for users easier.

What books are you searching for? Just curious so I can see how distinct the results differences are.

Could you post a link to any copy you can find online?
The newest one I can find anywhere is the 2023 version:
https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/x-men-facsimile-edition/1Bgiant_size/pirykqu

Or are you referring to this one here? I'm not sure it's a facsimile. I think it might be new content.

I imagine by 'reporting' you mean adding them to your collection.
One of the easiest ways is to simply type "fcbd" in the title search field. There are 13 pages of results that way.
The other way is to type part of the title in the search box, say "venom", then change the dropdown for type to "FCBD".

And using the Venom example. You'll see these methods bring up a title called "Spider-Man / Venom" with a date of 2019. But when you click on it to expand the series, you can see that's just when the first one was published. That particular title has entries for 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023.

If there are still ones you're having trouble finding, let us know as much info as you can and we'll help you find them in the system.

Absolute Batman

So what was everyone's thoughts on Absolute Batman? Not gonna lie, it wasn't quite what I was expecting.
When I read the concept of "Without the mansion...without the money...without the butler...what's left is the Absolute Dark Knight!" my first thought was, isn't that just Joker War?
But no, no it was not.
I enjoyed how it is a different, more aggressive take on our boy Bruce, all the way to his origin. He still has the same mission; he's just taken a different path and has different motives and morals.

So Many New (or Relaunched) X (and related) Titles

Man, there are just so many dang titles right now.
X-Men
Uncanny X-Men
Exceptional X-Men
X-Force
X-Factor
NYX
Sentinals
Storm
Phoenix
Mystique
Wolverine
Deadpool (maybe, kinda? It has the most issues out so I'm not sure if it's really considered part of the new stuff)

Did I miss any? I'm sure I missed some. Are you peeps reading any? What are your favorites so far?

Uncanny X-Men and X-Men are both good and tie in quite well together.
Exceptional X-Men has been putting on a strong showing too.
X-Force is the real standout for me though. I've never read much Forge, but I'm digging the dynamics of the team.
