2/29/2024 Topic: Follow up from Casper0312 please glorkar	Just for clarification, the issues you are talking about are completely missing? I see each title has 4 issues in the system. Or are they variants of those issues? If they are variants, it's possible that there was something wrong with the images (if you submitted them). If you go to the main cover of the issue in question, then the variants tab, scroll to the bottom and you should be able to see any variants you submitted.
2/29/2024 Topic: Nope Dispute - Batman 142 glorkar	I'm disputing a "nope" that I got for cover A of Batman 142. https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/batman/142/piusnux Tomeu Morey IS a cover artist. He is listed in the credits and signed the cover. To be fair, his signature is hard to see because of the color, but it's there, right below Nesi's.

This one I'm not as sure on, since credits can be wrong. Feel free to yup the letterer and editors too
2/29/2024 Topic: Nope Dispute - Edge of Spider-Verse 1 glorkar	I don't blame them for not adding creators. It is fairly labor intensive. I only do the books I pull for the most part and it takes me quite a while. I could only imagine doing the same for dozens and dozens of books and variants each week. And just to clarify, I don't care about the actual red marks on my account. I'm more concerned about having accurate date in the system, you know? I've yupped your covers and creators. I'll take care of some nopes tomorrow. I feel bad doing that because they don't actually get any of the feedback on why it was noped.

3/15/2024 Topic: Should NetEase Be Considered A Creator? glorkar	Was going through the verify data for creators and one caught my eye. Wakanda #1 - https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/wakanda/1E/phyrkpq collectibleshop listed "Netease Games" as the cover artist. They aren't an actual artist, just another company. They are apparently China's largest internet and gaming provider. It'd be the same as saying Nintendo or Spectrum/Time Warner are the artist. Specifically referencing Sheena: Queen of The Jungle: Fatal Exams There are quite a few variants that have the subtitle of "Rachel Hollon Cosplay Variant". The cover artist wouldn't be the cosplay model, it would be "Photo Cover", correct?

3/15/2024 Topic: Artist Name Changes glorkar	Just wondering how it's treated when a creator changes their name. Came across one that isn't a simple spelling change while working on the Blue Beetle series. The writer is Lilah Sturges. She was born Matthew Sturges. Both names are in the database, but they are actually the same person. Comics.org has Lilah listed for all of the books she wrote (29-36), so that's what I submitted. Issue 36 already had Matthew in as the writer. Apparently she came out as transgender in 2016. The books were written in 2008-2009. Should I kill my subs and resubmit Matthew?
3/17/2024 Topic: Artist Name Changes glorkar	I did notice that one too, though I guess it click as deeply as the other one. I actually remember clicking deeper on her name on comics.org. Louise Jones was already listed on the B cover so that's what I went with. For accuracy, I deleted Jones and re-subbed Simonson. Is there a way to get it switched on the B cover? (https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/x-men-classic/52B/wotwk) I'm sure if a person were to dig into it, there are probably quite a few "duplicate" listings in creators due to just name changes.
3/17/2024 Topic: Artist Name Changes glorkar	I decided to switch the Lilah books to Matthew, as that should be the name printed in the credits. We've always said, "go with the indicia", so I suppose "go with the credits" should work too. But yeah, it would be great if there was a way to link/cross reference creators when they have used multiple names.
3/18/2024 Topic: Death rage Merc publishing glorkar	Have you checked to see if they are still in the pending state? If you go to the main cover, click on the variants tab, are they still there at the bottom? I've been told that when a submission is rejected, you don't get any sort of notice or explanation. If they are no longer there, then there must have been an issue with the images you submitted.

3/18/2024 Topic: Crowdfunded comics glorkar	CPG staff aren't going to source crowd funded books, but you are more than welcome to request they be added. The thing you have to keep in mind is that it's going to take a while for them to move up the list. There are dozens of mainstream books that need to be added each week. The books you're talking about have print runs in the hundreds, with just a handful of collectors here with copies. Still, they are comics and they should be here. 3/26/2024 Topic: artist name spelling glorkar	Kind of a spelling issue I think... Chris Bachalo Hunter - https://comicspriceguide.com/creators/chris-bachalo-hunter I'm pretty sure it should just be Chris Bachalo. The only reference to Hunter I can find online for him is that he worked on the title.
3/26/2024 Topic: Trades w/Cover Reprints - Adding Creators glorkar	There's a couple of trades / collected volumes in verify data that must have the covers of the individual issues reprinted inside. Both of the users that submitted creators added the Cover Artists of those as Cover Artists of the trade. That's obviously incorrect. But do/should those creators be added as interior artists?
