That's an interesting idea. There are quite a few members who try to grade their books as they enter them. The easiest and fastest way is to use the default 9.4 but some try to be more accurate.
If you have a run of one title I put in what I think is average condition of the run - this way I am right some of the time! |

not the right forum for this, you want the Database and Missing Issues forum: https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/topics.aspx?ForumID=15
Value update suggestions are in the "Value" field for each and every comic. I have used it with success. Posting in forum gets minimal response. Perhaps feature needs to be more widely promoted. |

Annuals

I don't know what the case is with annuals but I've been going through my collection (some 1,700+) so far and I've tried entering several annuals, each of which has been a colossal headache as I try every possible combination of words from the cover that I can think of. Most of them fail. In fact, I have at least four that I simply could not enter because they weren't in the database.
While adding them to the database is, of course, a request, can CGP add an extra feature to searches such as what year something came out? I feel it would help narrow down searching considerably.
Just look up the series without the issue number - just the series name. When you go the the page for a series it will have tabs for Annuals, Giant Size, TBPs, any other non-regular issue item Easy Peeze.
You can search the issue title and issue number - annual should be in the list. Might be harder to find. As other CPGer mentioned - you can search the web frame using CNTRL F Hope this helps. KDS |

Try search all comics by country or search publisher.
Publisher should list all comics in DB by that publisher. |

Can we export boxes to excell?

Thank you Ron.
Here is the work around.
1) save the box or collection as a PDF file.
OPTION 1
2) If you have the latest version of Microsoft word - Start the MS Word Program. Open the PDF as a file in MS Word. Word will convert the PDF to an MS word file.
OPTION 2 2) Copy the text from from the PDF to a MS Word file. Put placeholder text for the Notes column if it is blank.
3) Convert the text to a Table. This takes some work an is not perfect. (May be easier in latest version).
4) Copy the MS Word table in MS excel.
Easy? - no - Can be done? yes. |

The first issue was really fun, because it was both a spoof and not a spoof of Frank Miller, and the turtles were written in/around the Daredevil origin story.
After that, I just never was caught up in the "fun" I guess. People say I have no sense of humor, sometimes. (I think find lots of stuff funny.)
Now, I just look at how much the Turtles have been in, and I 'just don't get it'.

So many incarnations hard to keep up. Started out as adult satire, turned semi-serious, went all kid friendly with Archie comics and Nickelodeon. Team Ups with Batman went serious by not believable. (Hey - why not). It is what it is. Fictional characters. Go back to original premise. Don't take too serious. |

Hello admins,
When I go to my profile and choose Collection, there is a section for "New Comics" that takes you to all the new comics CPG has updated recently. Is there a way for this to show OUR newest books added (above the latest 10 added)? Similar request to seeing beyond the top 10 in gains/loses.
Thanks for all you do.

In your virtual comic boxes - create a "New Comics Box" Edit box number in inventory of each new comics to be in "New Comics Box". In comic collection - select boxes - select New Comics Boxes - all there. Great way to divide and sort how ever you want. |
