7/12/2018 Topic: Tonka's Tittilations quinnspuddinjoker	Croatia seems to be on a mission. Back to back wins that came down to penalties, a first ever I believe, and then beating you, a really good team. I was hoping England would win but not too upset since Croatia plays clean solid football.

7/17/2018 Topic: Gilgandra Back Issues 2.0 quinnspuddinjoker	Nice books Gilgandra, the F Troop books look nice and clean. Crazy tv show, liked it as a kid. The Batman Adventures Holiday Special is. Great grade, I got graded too. X-Men 4 I’d like to have, Omaga Red is bad ass, Bloodscream I forgot about, always a good reason to reread Wolverine.

She still collects somewhat, but her boyfriend is really into it. Makes for great conversation when we get together. My collection is small to others here, around 5,000 raw books and near 250 slabs.

7/22/2018 Topic: Comic Book Men the end quinnspuddinjoker	That’s a big gift, nice he did this. True, many shows, well reality tv shows like you said only have a few minutes of interest. Good shows have actual stories being told. Me not likey most reality shows.
7/23/2018 Topic: Comic Book Men the end quinnspuddinjoker	You ever notice watching the Big Bang Theory that all all the cool stuff they own like statues, comics hanged on walls in the apartment, some tee shirts and really noticeable when they are at Stuwarts comic shop, everything being sold, on a wall, shelf, posters, statues and it is all DC stuff. Zero Marvel props ever.

7/27/2018 Topic: Favorite Artist Checklist? quinnspuddinjoker	Mike Ploog, Alex Ross, Jim Steranko, Barry Windsor Smith and Nick Cardy. I’ve become a HUGE Cardy fan a few years ago. Seems some might like Neal Adams check list, seems many sellers think if Adams did the cover, charge double....Don’t get it. On a side note Ron, watched your video on the blog, nice job. Now I see a face When I read your posts here, cool.
7/27/2018 Topic: WHAT'S HOT, WHAT'S NOT quinnspuddinjoker	So true figuring out what will stay hot or have the same value a year or two later. I really try not to buy many newly released books, mostly trying NOT to buy the “new” hot variant. I have a short box of those “hot” variants I bought over the years and maybe a handful kept their value, while most are not valued now of what I paid for years ago. Live and learn moment. Not being perfect in not buying variants, darn it if I really like the new pencil only variants by Jim Lee for DC books. And thanks to colbalt here I got sucked in to the new Middleton variants, digging them. I really really try to only buy books that have values that are settled and or hold their values over the years. So mostly buy Silver Age and Bronze Age books.
7/27/2018 Topic: Favorite Artist Checklist? quinnspuddinjoker	Man oh man, hard to pick my best Teen Titans cover by Cardy. Like issues 14, 16 I like the concept of Wonder Girl being pulled into a book. 22 and 24 is cool, Cardy did some awesome cover art and interior art. Fast acting blog post by you with “Artgerm” DC covers! Sweet!

8/1/2018 Topic: Overseas Comics Purchasing quinnspuddinjoker	Could always ask for scans or photo’s to see what you are thinking of buying. With any purchase there is a risk, be it a seller in the USA or anywhere in the World. I have only bought outside the US thru auctions in EBay, all coming from London. The few I won, five or so, I only got one bad book that I sent back to seller (Comic Biz Store eBay ID, from London, they said book was NM-, when I got it, I couldn’t grade it higher than a VG. They relisted book as VF+, screwing the next buyer.) anyway, to send that book back for refund it cost me $23 to send back, that sucked. Anyway, if using eBay to buy overseas your are pretty much covered or safe to get your money back if the buy goes sour. If possible do some research of seller. Look at feedback if possible or if not, ask seller about their refund policy. Hope any of this helps in your decision.
