11/15/2018 Topic: The Walking Dead 15th Anniversary Blind Bags Ronbatman Administrator	I think there are several things in play with this. All of our regular issues are put into the system by one of our admins who spends hours at a comic shop scanning each book in. He looks at the indicia and is virtually 100% right in what he does. I'm saying "virtually" because no one is perfect but I've never found a mistake from him. He's amazing. (Looking at you, Jesse) He puts in hundreds of books each week. A week or so ago he was gone and everyone on the site noticed. The issues that we have trouble adding are the box issues or the special publisher issues. If someone isn't a walking Dead fan they might not know about these blind bag issues. The Stan Lee Box set issues were another set that we missed some of the issues. Primarily because they are outside Diamond's distribution channel. This week I spend days trying to find all of them for my article on it. Totally honest with the next paragraph so read at your risk. We will never be "caught up" on everything. It's impossible. From our point of view we need people to help us with the issues we don't know about. If you can be positive in your help that keeps us going. The negative comments keep some admins away from the forum because they work so hard and people only notice the mistakes or the things we miss. I'm here and I'm trying to help. 11/15/2018 Topic: how to get a comic graded? Ronbatman Administrator	I'm sorry about your brother's passing. CGC and CBCS are trusted resources in our community. I've been able to see the behinds the scenes look on how they grade and handle the books. They are more careful than you or I are with the books. Both of those companies set up at major conventions and take books that way but you still have to wait for the grading. Check out their sites for more information on submitting a book. Ron

11/19/2018 Topic: Local Comic Shop Day Ronbatman Administrator	Did anyone pick up anything interesting at Local Comic Book Shop Day over the weekend? I found a store here in Indy who was offering 40% off back issues and statues. Picked up the Harley Quinn Statue that is my current icon for about $40 less than retail. BOOM! 11/20/2018 Topic: Dc 1st appearance list on blog Ronbatman Administrator	Thanks. I hope that all of the articles and informative pieces that I do are helpful to you fine people. I've got a new guy that is interested in writing for the blog and he's currently working on the Marvel 1st appearances. Those kinds of pieces take a long time because wiki sites are either incomplete or include random people who appeared once. Thanks again!

For me my May dated issues would have been out in March so I need to post July dated issues that would have been on the shelf in May. That changes everything.

11/21/2018 Topic: DC Giant comics from Walmart Ronbatman Administrator	I believe that we are all caught up on everything mentioned in this post. I checked the prices on them as well and almost all went up in value. Check out the blog for all Walmart Exclusive books. This DC/Walmart experiment seems to be working based on the sales I'm seeing. Helpful hint #1 - If you're selling these on Ebay NEVER put them up for auction, you will lose money. Always use Buy It Now. I've looked at hundreds of these prices and you will lose in the auction format. If you're buying, look for auctions! Helpful hint #2 - If you find a Walmart book (or other non-Diamond book) that we don't have please submit it for approval. This will help you and us. 11/26/2018 Topic: Side Offers Offsite is this allowed? Ronbatman Administrator	Currently we don't have any policy prohibiting someone selling their book in two places. We don't recommend it because there could be mix ups and bad feelings from buyers. We have several sellers making a living just selling on our site so there isn't really a need to add multiple venues. In my opinion the seller should decline the offer if they don't intend to accept it for any reason. Telling you that they are selling on the side is an effort to get more money. Maybe you should avoid this person's auctions since it is obviously bothersome to you.

11/26/2018 Topic: The Walking Dead 15th Anniversary Blind Bags Ronbatman Administrator	According to my review all of the Blind Bag issues are in with pricing and creator information. I might be missing a couple cover scans for issue 171. I don't think this is information that I've seen before but there are 65 blind bag issues. Most have 4 variants but a few have a secret or special variant. Check out issues 98, 100 and 108 for some of the weirder or more rare variants. R
