10/18/2018 Topic: Return of Wolverine #1 - J Scott Campbell Cover Ronbatman Administrator	I have 3 more Return of Wolverine #1 covers to put in the system and this is one of them. There are almost 60 variants for that issue. By the way, this is a great looking cover.
10/22/2018 Topic: Variant covers: How many is too much? Ronbatman Administrator	Steve, This is a good question. 65 variants for a single book isn't a record. Shocking but true. Action Comics #1000 had 44 total. Batman #1 from 2016 had 45 total. Return of Wolverine #1 had 59 total. Star Wars #1 had 81 total. Batman #50 (fake wedding book) has 101 total, which I believe is the current record From our perspective, variants take an enormous amount of time. But I don't see an end in the near future based on the popularity of those books. To answer your questions, how many is too much? 3 Do I like or dislike variants? Working for the price guide, I hate them. From the collector side, I enjoy some of them. R

10/24/2018 Topic: Batgirl #28 Middleton Variant Ronbatman Administrator	I was doing some research and found that Batgirl #28 Middleton variant which comes out today is selling like crazy on eBay. The average price is around $10 with a high of $25 for a raw book. When you're out at your local comic shop today you might want to pick it up. Plus, it's a beautiful cover. Just trying to keep my people informed. Ron

10/24/2018 Topic: New Feedback System Ronbatman Administrator	As of today, (October 24th) we have implemented a feedback system. To access this both parties have to mark the limbo box. (paid for seller, received comic for buyer) Buyers can now leave a positive, neutral or negative feedback. Buyers can check previous feedback to see what kind of seller this is. When they do this, they will be able to see the feedback and the date. (not the item) We don't want to broadcast your purchases to the world. Sellers can now reply one time to that feedback. If you get a nice positive you can say, "Thank you". Build goodwill and all. If you get a negative you can explain your view. We are working on a "Make it right" feature that will allow the negative to turn into a neutral. Your feedback will determine your percentage on the site. Neutral doesn't count against you. Our goal is to create a better situation for both buyers and sellers. There are sellers on the site who don't respond to buyers and this is the start to weed them out. 10/25/2018 Topic: New Feedback System Ronbatman Administrator	Rixmax, there will be phases to the feedback system. Our first phase was planning, creating and implementing this piece. (Bryan is a magical wizard of programming) The two other pieces that we want to tackle are responsiveness to buyers and a way for a seller to remove negative feedback by "making it right" with the buyer. That might include further explanation or a refund or returning the item. There are great people and jerks on both sides of the transaction so we want to cover all aspects. We are daily trying to improve the site sometimes users see the daily value changes, book additions, variant organization and sometimes it's only on the backend. Every day we are making things better. Variants - Have you noticed the new system? Look at Batman #50. Now exclusives have a name attached to them instead of just a letter, different printings are labeled and then regular publisher variants have letters. Since we had so many variants, exclusives and printings we changed our system to better describe them.
10/25/2018 Topic: Missing Variants, what's the issue? Ronbatman Administrator	Bbarbour, We input hundreds of books, regular, variant and exclusives each week. When a member submits a book that starts the process. In the backend of the site, an admin claims them and then starts the research. They need to verify the cover, the existence of the book, pricing and who's exclusive. For example, someone asked me about a specific Return of Wolverine cover that wasn't in our system. They asked about 1 book but when I start researching a title it makes sense to get all variants. I spent the entire day researching all the covers for Return of Wolverine, details, exclusives and current pricing from various sources. That kind of thing happens a lot. So there is some randomness to which book each admin does but if you submitted it, we will get to it. I hope that clarifies things. r

Here is a screenshot of your submission from the administration side of things. You have to fill in the blanks to submit it. If you click on a publisher like DC https://comicspriceguide.com/collection/dc You can see all DC books plus at the bottom of the page you can see, top titles, top issues, top graded titles and top graded issues. You can do this for each publisher. We recently increased this to show the top 10 for each of those categories for every publisher. R
11/5/2018 Topic: Innovate or die... to bad Ronbatman Administrator	This year we have done numerous upgrades to the site. We have organized the variant covers to a more useable format. We've increased the speed of the site. We've done a complete remodel. We added Amazon links for trades. We've added a sales feedback systems. We've added features to allow the admins to copy creators and stories. Those are the things off the top of my head. Because of these things we've seen a 35% increase in users for this month!!! and 25% for last month.
11/5/2018 Topic: Number of Posts in Auctions Ronbatman Administrator	If you see your post numbers in decline it's because I've deleted old auctions that were from 2 years ago. It would be helpful if each of you would delete your auctions when they are old and of no use. I wish you the best in all your sales. Ron
