if you can attach a cover scan to your post, that will speed things up. I too couldn't find much mention of it, and no pics. Only a few sites said there were 22 issues, but couldn't find any with pics of all, even the marvel uk database sites. odd. list creator credits too, publish date etc, that will really help them get it listed. edited by collectibleshop on 8/19/2025 |

Collector's Editions (X-Men and Captain America)

My feeling is that "Marvel Presents The" should be in the title listing, as that would be the name of the 'series' from that publisher, although it's the only one of it. Plus it'll be what most users will use to find it, even tho it will show up using just X-Men Collector's Edition and UK for the country choice. And for the Cap one, 'Collector's' should have an apostrophe in the listing title like the X-Men one does. They're from 2 different publishers, and if the indicia is no help, then the cover title is what should be used in my opinion. I see the 2nd HC for Cap says 'A Marvel' something, but can't make out the 3 word. But CPG's call to make. edited by collectibleshop on 8/19/2025 |

Hi. When you say "is a 9.8 grade for me", does that mean YOUR opinion grade of a raw book, or is yours professionally graded? The 'Is Graded' checkbox is only for pro-graded comics. I can't see your individual book listing, but your collection list for Vampirella (Warren Pub) shows the 9.8 graded value at $230 there. https://www.comicspriceguide.com/members/dirtydvd/warren-publishing-corp/vampirella/phwrm If you can post a screenshot attachment of what you're seeing on that comic's listing, that will help them explain it or fix it if it needs fixing. Your profile says you have 23 pro-graded comics, or at least ones marked Graded. Paying members can upload their own scans/pics, so you can add 1 to that listing and show it's a pro-graded copy, if you have the ability to get a pic. If an admin doesn't come along in a few days to answer this, email customer support. |

Have you looked inside at the indicia? Everyone lists this as a facsimile edition, so I'm thinking that's what DC calls it inside. It's a reprint of Vol 1 #121, 1st app. of Mr Freeze. Naturally most other facsimiles use the original cover too (I don't know if that's under the outer cover?), but not this time. If DC calls it a facsimile inside, that's what CPG goes by. |

Hi. yes, it's free, and no I haven't tried it (don't have enough left to be worth it). If you haven't, see this post: https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=17274 . By the way I read it, QC gets 'access to your collection' so they can see what you have on here without you typing up a list or excel file etc. Don't bother them if you're not selling tho, CPG already already gives you a valuation as to prices, although QC may disagree with it. But if you want to sell the whole collection and don't want to list it here or on the CPG classifieds, then QC will get in touch and see if you can work things out, or at least you'll have an idea what ONE dealer will pay. gonna depend on how good a grader you are tho. Be aware most dealers offering prices are pretty low except for really good old stuff (1970s and older). Blazing thru some of your collection it appears you mostly have moderns, and most dealers have all those and don't pay much. Sometimes just selling the highest value issues to other collectors will get you the same or more than a dealer will pay for the whole collection, depending on size of course. If you're a paying member you can mark them for sale on here and see what you can sell to other collectors if you're not in a hurry. Good luck! |

subtitle says 'Clay Mann & Seth', so Seth is apparently Seth Mann, and their 'sig' on the cover says 'The Mann Boyz', so I filled in Seth Mann and his name came up, so I could add it to the cover artists. But shouldn't the subtitle be more clear and say 'Clay & Seth Mann', or 'Clay Mann and Seth Mann'? https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/accountantdan/3-RI-C/piytlsv has Delia Diaz in subtitle, should Be Delio.Diaz according to the interior credits. submitted the name to the database too, since he didn't come up. edited by collectibleshop on 8/20/2025 |

Curious... yeah, that's what CGC calls them too, so not sure why everybody lists it as a facsimile when it's actually just a reprint without the original cover. They did do a foil one at the same time with the original cover too, so maybe since these others are variants of that, they're included with the actual Facsimile edition listings to make it more connected and easier for categorization. |

this is odd. Why does https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/marvel-milestone-edition-amazing-spider-man/3/pjryh show up on the Verify page under Creators as #2, but on it's own page it's correctly #3? there is no #2 edition.
and I see that https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/fantastic-four/1998annual/piqvov is called Fantastic Four #1998 under the annuals tab, but 1998 is the year, not the issue number. And GCD shows the indicia as "Fantastic Four / Fantastic 4 '98" , so not even spelling out the year. https://www.comics.org/issue/68738/image/ . There is technically no issue number for the annuals in this volume of FF, https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/fantastic-four/smsq , so methinks each issue title should be with the year in it, but maybe the system can't take it that way, hence the # so people put the year in the issue number box? way to go Marvel...
another correction: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/green-lantern-corps/7/piythsx has mostly the wrong cover artists listed because someone at DC messed up the credits page and copied the interior artists names to the cover artists credit. Fernando Pasarin , Arif Prianto , Oclair Albert are the interior artists, not the cover artists, which have their signatures on the cover. V. Ken Marion and Pasquale Ferrara are the 2 cover artists. Marion is there already, and I had subbed Ferrara to the creator database since he wasn't in it yet. So calling all Xvipahs, Jarheads, Caspers to the corrections lounge.... edited by collectibleshop on 8/21/2025 |

If I'm getting your question right. There is a way to report missing issues - on the main CPG page, you can click the Price Guide link at the top, "report missing issues" is down near the bottom of that menu. Variants can be reported specifically on the issue they are a variant of, if that issue does not exist, it would need to be reported missing first, etc...
Hope that helps pretty sure he knows the current way to report missing issues using the Missing Issue form, or possibly not? and that link on the Price Guide dropdown just explains the usual way. I think he's asking to have a report link on the Publisher's pages. Not sure why that would save admins time. I'm not sure what he means by "don't have a title avenue" unless that means when the publisher isn't listed either? The biggest problem lately is that the Report Missing Issue form has not been working, but I haven't tested it in a couple weeks, maybe it got fixed. it was saying it 'can't add it to the queue' yadda yadda, for a while now. been reported a few times. that's why people have been posting missing issues on the forum instead. so pittlw, please explain a bit more what you're asking, thanks. edited by collectibleshop on 8/22/2025 |

Hi, sorry I may be being a bit thick but how exactly do upload a cover scan in this section. I can see the option to choose 'full reply function', which in turn allows uploads but I do not understand the instructions to do this abs there appears to ve code to write? Any help appreciated.
that img code is if you want to post a pic that's on the net directly into the message using the url for it, but that uses the other site's bandwidth and is frowned upon. if you use a CPG image pic link, or an image link from your own site if you have one, that's fine. you just need to right click on the CPG image and 'copy image link' in the popup context menu (for windows systems) and insert that URL (http:// etc) in between the 2 tags img tags, then it will appear in the post. There's a CPG FAQ on this, but it's not specific enough and needs to be re-written to be clearer.
but better to use your own computer files pics, or save a another site's pic to your computer and then use that as an attachment. so click the Attach Files button, then click the 'browse' button that will show in the pane that opens below it, that will connect to your computer files. then navigate to your images and click the 1 you want to add, and the file name will show underneath the browse button, then click Add (or Update) Message. The pic file name will show at the bottom of the message and will need to be clicked on to be downloaded to view, although some systems may open it right there, but mine doesn't. Hope that's clear as mud been yupping all your cover pics, but gotta do other stuff now, keep 'em coming. edited by collectibleshop on 8/22/2025 |

well, according to every other major comic database I checked, plus mycomicshop, milehigh, e**y etc, the cover is correct. that's the April 1997 #27 issue. As noted on the series listing, "Issues 1-20 (Cartoon Books vol 1), Issues 21-27 (Image Comics), Issues 28 and later (Cartoon Books)". The only other cover I found was for the trade paperback Vol 4, that has "Jeff Smith" on the cover and Dragonslayer along the bottom.
Tip for the future--if reporting an incorrect cover and attaching a pic, the attached pic should be of what you think is the correct cover, not just a screenshot of the CPG listing, as that link will show us that. That issue has been out since 1997, so unlikely everyone has it wrong, so why do you think it's the wrong cover? also, this is the wrong forum for this, this forum is for technical issues with the site. it should go in the Database & Missing Issues forum. edited by collectibleshop on 8/24/2025 |

https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/wonder-woman/22-RI/pivwltp has the artist named misspelled in the subtitle--It's Tirso (Tirso Cons), not Tirsa. https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/wonder-woman/22C/pivwltq doesn't have David Nakayama's name as cover artist in the subtitle.
https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/wonder-woman/22B/pivwlux doesn't have Guillem March's name in the subtitle. https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/space-ghost-jonny-quest-space-quest/pisqly according to the indicia, the title is just Space Quest: https://www.comics.org/issue/2698079/image/ . don't you own it? anyway you can attach a pic? or describe what's different other than the company logo? even if only distributed in Canada, there would've been many copies out there, so someone, somewhere, some database after 28 years would have this on the net, but I can't find anything with a CB logo for that issue. Can't be that rare. Even found a Canadian seller with #27 and it's still the Image logo. So I emailed Cartoon Books about it, will see if they ever reply. to get the most attention to this, copy your post and put it on the Missing Issues forum, https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/topics.aspx?ForumID=15 , and then you can delete the ones on this forum and I can delete mine. they don't pay much attention to this forum, and I'm not an admin. if you get a good scan of the comic (cropped to the edges, square-on, no watermarks), you can submit it as a missing variant using the Report Missing Variant form on the issue's page under the Variants tab, there a link with a flag by it. https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/bone/27/sbrsbu . that's how they prefer things to be done, but maybe another member will see the post and confirm what you say. Missing Star Trek the Motion Picture Annual

man, that didn't come up for me when I tried multiple searches, with UK and Any type etc. Didn't try looking at World Distributors in the Publisher list, was stuck on Grandreams since that's what the wiki link said. Now it comes up if I use Star Trek Annual for the title and Any Comic for the issue type and UK country, but I swear I tried that early on. Using Star Trek in the title and choosing Annual or Issue in Comic type doesn't find it. Using Star Trek Annual title and 1981 for the issue number and Any Comic finds it, but not if you use 1981 and Issue, but that's what the 1981 is for, so weird. Also, the series is dated 1969-1978, and should be to 1986. So some tweaking to do for the keywords and date. edited by collectibleshop on 8/25/2025 |

I think the confusion might be that the Indicia says 1976 in Roman numerals, as well as GCD's series date saying 1976. So maybe the '77 edition was PUBLISHED at the end of 1976 and titled for 1977. But you'd be right in that there appears to be no 1976 edition. |
