I found multiple sites that have it listed, not much detail, but good for pics. 1981 seems to be what most have for it. https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Spider-Man%27s_Playtime_Fun-Book_Winter_Special_(UK)_Vol_1_1

this one is harder to find. what I wonder is, does it have 50% or more of comic STORY, vs puzzles and pinup stuff? if not, then it doesn't meet CPG standards for inclusion. one post on starlogged says "Even the SPIDER-MAN FUN BOOK (a compilation of puzzle pages and SPIDEY SUPER STORIES reprints.....)", so if it has enough of those to be 50% or more of the content, then it's ok. nothing on e**y either. no pics of nicer copies, so if yours is nicer you can submit it if they get it listed. edited by collectibleshop on 7/24/2025 |

I think titles are confused here a bit? or did you paste the same sentence you used for your summer specials post? the 1979 summer special on CPG has the correct cover according to all the other sites I saw. https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/spider-man-summer-special/1979/umtrbx also, you submitted 1978 for the year instead of 1979. another member reported that the trashcan icon to delete subs is throwing an error again, so you may have to have an admin fix it. your link goes to your collection, which we can't see, and it says WINTER special, not summer. For the first winter special, https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/spider-man-winter-special/1980/umtqhu they have it as 1980 and it should be 1979 as everyone else has. they have the whole series as 1980-84,when it appears that should be 1979 to 84. However, they seem to have the wrong pic for the 1980 one as you noted . GCD: https://www.comics.org/issue/1186148/cover/4/
1979 cover: https://www.comics.org/issue/1186147/cover/4/
there's no thumbnail of the 1985 one, so is this it? https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Spider-Man_Special_(UK)_Vol_1_14 edited by collectibleshop on 7/24/2025 |

if all it is is just posters, it doesn't qualify for CPG, despite they have other poster mags from the past. |

ok, that explains that, as I know you submit marvel UK stuff and that 1st e**y link was the US version, so I didn't bother to go look for a UK one. didn't quickly find any good pics, so they'll probably need a scan of yours. |

well, that's doesn't sound like it's 50% of comic story, so they probably won't list it. |

same as the other poster mag, it's not 50% comic story, so probably won't get listed. unless there's a different strip on every 'page'? |

ok, for future ref that info is good to know, since I see others of these UK poster books with comic strips noted. so it wasn't clear that the strips are a story or how many pages they're on. |

https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/blaze-of-glory-last-ride-of-the-western-heroes/xivs . according to the indicia scan on comics.org, the correct title is just Blaze of Glory. https://www.comics.org/issue/63170/image/?issue_detail= https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/scorched/pkxybs should be THE Scorched, not just Scorched, saw indicia online. update 7-27. This one is bit screwy. From what I can find, there is no FCBD issue with a Peach Momoko cover to Post Malone's Big Rig, https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/fcbd-2025-post-malones-big-rig/pipxbu someone has submitted the #1 issue Momoko cover variant, which is correct, but it's not an FCBD issue, those say Free Comic Book Day on them. Plus, the FCBD one is #0, not #1. It clearly says #0 on the cover, and GCD's pic of the indicia says #0 also, and the indicia just has it as Big Rig #0, Not Post Malone's Big Rig. https://www.comics.org/issue/2730014/image/ . The League mistakenly has it as #1 also. they have most of the #1 variants here: https://leagueofcomicgeeks.com/comic/9999013/post-malones-big-rig-1 , which is what the Momoko cover is. So it appears the #1's listed on CPG's FCBD page are not right, only the #0 is an FCBD issue, unless it says different inside. Plus CPG has them as $6.99 for the mis-numbered #1 FCBD red cover, dated July, but shouldn't it be MAY like the other #0s, cuz that's the FCBD month this year? The other #1s are at $9.99 cover, which is not free. None of the #1's I saw anywhere had Free Comic Book Day on the cover. I have a strong suspicion that the red background FCBD banner issue is a pre-production cover too. Couldn't find any pics of a 'real' copy on e**y, only stock photos, and neither GCD or the league have that cover as a #0 variant. So I emailed Vault comics, will be at least Monday for an answer. The Jetpack #1 (should be #0 like on the cover) pic is an angled camera pic, so finally found a better one, attached it. Attached a better pic of the regular #0 too, as the current one has camera glare and not cropped well on the right. not sure how both of those got approved. took a while to gather all this, hope I'm correct, so have fun admins... edited by collectibleshop on 7/27/2025 |

if that's the case, then it's not really a comic book or magazine, it's just a poster with a strip story. will leave it to the higher ups as to whether it qualifies for inclusion, but methinks not. |

Vault comics replied and said the red cover background version of #0 "This cover was not printed in the manner you depict." I see it's been deleted already, but no one changed out the jetpack cover yet. |

The Blaze of Glory are correct, as I actually had those in hand so verified before I corrected. The rest im not sure about, but ill do some lookin at my issues of scorch and get it corrected Ben
Blaze of Glory still says BLAZE OF GLORY: LAST RIDE OF THE WESTERN HEROES on CPG to me. Indicia says just Blaze of Glory on all four issues, as seen on GCD's indicia scans. That's one of those comics where the Last Ride part is just the story name, not the series name. Saw The Scorched indicia on one of those readcomicsonline sites. thanks for fixing my yup/nope mistakes too. pretty sure I'm right on the Big Rig stuff too. have fun.

https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/speed-racer/1H/piyuits subtitle has it as Nimura, but it's Niimura with 2 ii's, as noted on the cover. That wouldn't fly with the Knights That Say NII-mura! and the database has him as JM Ken Niimura, so would be nice if both matched. edited by collectibleshop on 8/2/2025 |

King-Size Annual! Peter Parker, 1980
collectibleshop

Hi. multiple ways to find the annuals. Annuals and Specials are listed with the main series, under those named tabs. Go to Vol 1 of Spectacular Spider-Man (drop 'Peter Parker', as CPG calls it just Spectacular Spider-Man and notes "Early issues headed Peter Parker"), https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/spectacular-spider-man/riur , then click on the Annual tab and there they are. You can also find them by using the Comic Type dropdown menu and choosing Annual. Not all the King Size ones will come up that way because not all King Size stuff are annuals, so best to use the Annual choice if looking for any King Size annuals. Same goes for the Marvel Two in One annuals etc.
And you can edit your posts, so no need to do a post for every comic, just add them to the first post if you can't find others after that. See my soon-to-be Pulitzer Prize winning search tips thread here, you'll need it: (4th post down): https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=12110
