Just picked up my copy of Batman 120 today and noticed that my cover is different. Mine has note about the backup story in the top right corner and more creators listed in the top left.

Fathom: The Core Kickstarter variants

Not sure how to add this one in. All of the Kickstarter variants have no issue number. This is because they contain both issues 1 and 2. So it's kind of a variant of both issues? Or kind of a tpb? But not really either? I don't know. That's for you professionals to decide Big Grin
.
Here's the main listing:
https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/fathom-the-core/pkxuky
.
There's already one Kickstarter variant tucked in there under #1, but it really doesn't belong there. It's technically variant O (as in the capital letter, not the number).

https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/fathom-the-core/1-KICK/phttnsy
I've got another one that I'm trying to add. Mine is officially B1 (there is a B2 that was a mystery holofoil version of this cover).
.
Here's the one I've got:
Fathom: The Core Kickstarter Edition
September 2021
Published by Aspen
No Cover Price
No UPC
Writer: Vince Hernandez
Pencils: Alex Konat
Inks: Mark Roslan
Colors: Peter Steigerwald
Letters: Zen
Cover: Michael Turner, Mark Roslan and Peter Steigerwald
.
I've attached a copy of the cover I'd like to add as well as the indicia page (which also shows the variants, for what it's worth).

I'll have to reach out to the publisher.
From my understanding, 19 and 20 were printed together, 21 was standalone and 22 and 23 were printed together. I see nobody has those issues. Not sure where the images came from.
Let me see what I can find and I'll get back to you.

Just out of curiosity, where did the images in the database come from? Are they scans from cpg? Or are they from an online source? I'm just wondering if they were preproduction images.

I sent a message to Tom Hutchison, the creator of these comics.
This is what I asked:
"Hi, I have a couple of strange questions for you.
I'm a member of a comic book database website. I'm trying to add a few issues of Legend of Oz Wicked West, but there seems to be some confusion.
I love the story and would love to see the books accurately represented.
Were there ever stand alone issues of 19 and 20, or were all of them published together?
Were there ever stand alone issues of 22 and 23, or were all of them published together?

Anything you can let me know would be greatly appreciated!"
.
And this was his response:

"

So in theory those issues could be rereleased on their own but no plans at this time. It would only happen if we went back into Diamond for comic shop sales. Our current method for books is 20 40 40 on issues to help us get a story out faster. Some of our stuff like goth day is just single issues but our larger series like critter and so on will be working on this new system. So at this stage 1920 and 2223 only exist as the double sized issues."

.
So that means that the way we have issues 19, 20, 22 and 23 are all incorrect. They never existed like we have them.
1920 is a single issue and 2223 is a single issue.

Coin Collecting

I'm big into coin collecting too. Like Aaron, I use Numista (en.numista.com for the English language site). They have a great database. It's easy to manage your collection. The forum is full of nice and knowledgeable people who are glad to help you identify your coins as well as answer any questions you might have.

I also use the price guides on NGC (ngccoin.com) frequently. You have to know what you have before you can use that though. Pretty easy for US stuff. The foreign stuff can be a little trickier though.

What kind of coins do you collect?

That's pretty cool. It's a nice little reminder of him every time you look at the collection.
I've got a little bit of everything from all over. Nothing quite as personal as yours, but I just like the designs and history. I've got 3500 coins from 243 countries that are or were.
My main focus right now is on pre-1900s stuff. I've got a bit of paper currency too, but mine is mostly silver certificates and star notes.
I really love the look of the US silver proof sets though. I've gotten the last few years. They're a little pricy, but boy are they shiny and pretty :p

Got another one. My copy of Batgirls 3 (https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/batgirls/3/phwqmvv) has the Batman movie promo in the bottom left next to the barcode.
Not gonna bother attaching a pic this time. But I figured it deserves the same note as the others at least.
(Like Detective Comics 1051: "Some issues have "The Batman (Movie) out on Theatres" written on cover." was added to the 'Facts' section)

I haven't gotten anything terribly fun lately. Just a bunch of indie books off Kickstarter. Other than that, I think my best book was Uncanny X-Men 148 (1st appearance of Caliban).

I recently picked up Fantastic Four 83 and 97 with a fun Kirby cover. Punisher 6 with a Mignola Cover and Sensational She-hulk 1 with a Bryne cover. DC vs. Vampires 1-4

I'm on the hunt for New Teen Titans 2 and Dr. Strange 2 with an unapproved Green Lantern visit.

There's a listing on the Bay for Dr. Strange #2 and #3 for $25 (if this is the volume you're looking for).

Glory / Avengelyne

This one seems to be pretty messed up.

First off, the indicia lists it as Glory / Avengelyne, no "&". Minor, but hey, if it says it, it says it.

Then on to the covers.

This one here: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/glory-avengelyne/skts seems to have the same cover listed twice for A and B with one called "refractive holofoil" and the other one "chromium".

There's a note that this is under the Extreme Imprint, but the cover and indicia both simply say Image.

That same cover is used for the listing for Avengelyn & Glory: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/avengelyne-glory/yjux.
That is the wrong title and the wrong publisher. The names are backward and it's not by Avatar.

Most story arcs are a run within a single series.

I wouldn't agree with this.
Take for example the Joker War story arc from DC. The story was in Batman, Detective Comics, Harley Quinn, Nightwing, Catwoman and Batgirl.
Or the current Devil's Reign arc from Marvel: Devil's Reign, Daredevil, Superior Four, Villains for Hire, X-Men, Winter Soldier, Spider-Woman, Moon Knight.

I agree with Xvipah73. Most of those are only going to be worth $0.50 - $1.00, sold in bulk. But the ones that are worth money can be worth a ton of money.
Unfortunately for you, the only way to find those is to go through each and every book.

More than likely it is the "Famous First Editions" reprint from the 70s.
Like aarondawe stated, it is much bigger than a standard comic. Closer to the size of a magazine.

Odd. I don't subscribe and didn't have to log in or anything.
If you just do a web search for marvel comic 2.4 million there are a ton of articles that come up.
Most of the articles are pretty short and don't include everything in the NYT article.
The big bit missing is:

"The copy sold last week is in remarkable condition for a book that is more than 80 years old, perhaps because it had been hidden in a file cabinet until it was discovered in 1993 or 1994, Mr. Fishler said. The cabinet had belonged to Lloyd Jacquet, who started a company, Funnies Inc., which sold comic book stories and artwork to publishers. Mr. Jacquet died in 1970.
...
It was a freak of nature that this book was saved,” Mr. Fishler said.
On the cover and seven of the pages, Mr. Jacquet wrote how much his company owed artists including Frank R. Paul, who was paid $25 to illustrate the cover, Mr. Fishler said.
...
The copy passed through several hands from the time it was discovered in the file cabinet, the location of which was unclear. In 2003, the copy fetched as much as $350,000"
