You are correct, we do need to make some money, not CGC money, but some money to continue doing all the things we do.
For the website, that search limit isn't currently in place so you could easily switch to the mobile version and get around it. For the Android app, we did several series of extensive testing to confirm that the search was 25. It's 25 titles or if you get specific in your search, 25 issues per day. I tested it several times on paid, free, Google, Facebook and Apple based accounts. Are you using the new Android app or the old Apple app. The Apple app will be replaced in less than 2 weeks when I get that testing finished.

You are correct.
If you search for an individual title, Amazing Spider-Man, that counts as 1 search.
If you search for an individual issue, Amazing Spider-Man 300, that counts as 1 search.
This is only on the Android app right now. It isn't on the website or the old Apple app.
We want to continue to add innovations to the site and app and that takes money. |

Dungeon Crawler Carl has 3 FCBD issues and then a zero that comes out in a few weeks. Some of the things Glorkar submitted aren't out yet and would go into a new title since they aren't FCBD issues. Hopefully that helps some.
