10/28/2024 Topic: Database problem? Ronbatman Administrator	Four Color Comics have always been a searching nightmare for people. Previously we had all the titles separate even though they were a part of the Four Color series. This caused some confusion for more experienced collectors who knew they were Four Color books and an internal program we are working on. If you look at Comics.org or CGC census you will see all the Four Color books together. We want to figure out a search that allows people to see all the different four color titles but that takes times. Ron

Ronbatman Administrator	This is the title that you referred to https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/star-wars-darth-maul---black-white-red/phyuit/ The T3 P4 and Hit 4 are not part of the comic or its numbering. For that title most UPC are entered. You can type that into the search bar and get results just like typing in the name. In general, the polybags that comics are shipped in aren't good for the comic. There is an overlap of plastic that pushes a crease into the book over time. But that is your decision. Ron

Click on the Collection tab On this page, you will see a pencil that if you mouse over it will say Edit. Click that and you can add more details. After you finish be sure to click the green button.

11/13/2024 Topic: Variants Waiting Approval is Down to Almost Zero! Ronbatman Administrator	Over the years that I've been with CPG, I've seen the number of variants that need to be approved over 1000. Routinely there were 600 to 700 waiting to be approved. In May, we built an administration panel to increase speed and focus on variants. Since that time we have taken that total down to almost zero. I want to say publically that Jarhead and Pacino have done this. There are more who helped but those two carried most of the weight. I'm very proud of the work they did and would like to thank them. Even last weekend when someone dropped over 100 Archie variants they knocked them out. In general, the admins that we have are amazing, seriously amazing.

My best guess is that we have the book in our system, 1.2 million books is a lot. Check the indicia typically the small print at the beginning of the book for the correct title. All the best, Ron

12/5/2024 Topic: New App in January 2025 Ronbatman Administrator	Over the last 6 months, we have been working on a new app. We have thought about and debated every element of the design. We have listened to feedback and suggestions from customers. We have added some very cool technology that wasn't available when the last app was made. Our admins have been adding new bigger scans since May to prepare for this. We think this is a monumental jump forward for our app and will be a huge help to the thousands of CPG app users. When the time arrives for us to release the app we will send out an email. Make sure that you're on our email list. We will announce it to our 150,000 Facebook followers as well. This is easily the best thing we have done so far! It's amazing. Ron
12/10/2024 Topic: Comic pressing machine suggestions? Ronbatman Administrator	Most people use t-shirt presses that you can buy from Amazon or Home Depot. There are two types a clamshell and a swing-away. The clamshell is cheaper, because of the way the lid closes some people worry about the pressure being uneven. The swing-away applies even pressure on all areas of the book.
