Hi all!

I used to have a really fun auction finds thread on the
old boards so, in the same spirit I thought it'd be cool to share our
treasury books!

I'll start off with a few pics:

There is a link below the quick reply box...

http://comicspriceguide.com/forum/addpost.aspx?TopicID=11251

It'll give you the little green button to click and add the direct path to the image

Also, I see that your dead links don't have the full path to the image. It's just got the file name. I'm not sure what's going on with that.
I've got my images uploaded to photobucket and they can give you a direct link to the image that will work on messageboard. Just be warned that photobucket is bogged down with too many annoying ads on their site.

Some more odd ones were published by Modern Publications. People confuse them with Charlton because they are best known for their Charlton reprints with the blue "Modern Comics" logo. They also published some Archie Comics.

This is taller than most treasuries, but it was sold only at Walt Disney Theme parks.

I ~think~ DC's unnumbered Rudolph Treasury predates it. Don't quote me on that.
It's really a moot point unless you are trying to pinpoint the start of a trend. Some of the earliest comics were published in an oversized format.

I have an ad block plugin & an adaware script block plugin installed. I'm sure that making my experience more tolerable. I still see ads.
