Hey Guys,
To all the back issue collectors out there. When searching for books for your collection do you have a preference of the American books over the UK books or vice versa?
Personally, I consider the American book the definitive version of all Marvel and DC comics and that's what I seek out for my collection.
Does anyone have a differing opinion?

Most of my pence issues I also have a US version. US is the "real" one, UK is the "variant" cover with a much smaller print run. Printed at the same time with the same inner pages.
I think variant covers are neat, but I don't want to pay crazy prices.
