I just had to share this, as I found it quite humorous. Recently won an auction for a single book, .99 price. Then got the invoice.

That thing better be shipped in gold lol. On top of that, 11 to 14 business days for "expedited" shipping.

Hah! I do a lot of business via auction sites and I try to make sure that the buyer knows the shipping charge up front. Getting hammered with a high fee after winning the auction is such a bad business practice. Now, I know that regardless of the cost of the item you won, shipping is what shipping is. I can't haggle with the post office as to what they're going to charge, but this seems like the seller is padding his pockets because he didn't get what he wanted from his auction. I hope all works out well!

If that's Canada Post then that shipping cost is legit. 1 comic shipped anywhere in Canada from Canada (securely/properly packaged) is minimum $10 (regardless of the cost of the comic itself). edited by genuine_article_comics on 4/4/2016 edited by genuine_article_comics on 4/4/2016

And that shipping time for expedited is about right too since expedited is no longer the descriptor for the fastest services. It is pretty much akin to regular nowadays.
