Just what I was going to ask...
Tom Sutton did a large volume of art for Marvel, Charlton, DC and Warren. Not a scarce artist.
Not a low print run that I am aware of. What gives?

There is a strong resurgence in Bronze Age horror especially Charlton horror books. Tom Sutton was allowed to do some crazy artwork and it's gaining momentum. For a time when the CCA was still very strict Tom Sutton's work was on the bleeding edge. Collectors are recognizing that now and buying them up.
Books go up and down all the time, we don't ever report why they go up or down, only the sales. Check eBay finished auctions and you'll see that it's true.
