Are the "Battle Beast" blind bag variants such as "Marvel Team Up" #14 and "Invincible" #19 missing? Should they be under variants for each title or will these be listed as variants for the blind bag?

Do the missing "Marvel Team Up" and "Invincible" issues go under the "Battle Beast" blind bag variants as they were such or should they be variants under the individual titles???

If not aware "Battle Beast" #1 blind bag had a chance of containing "Marvel Team Up" #14 or "Invincible" #19 variants.

thought I posted about this before, but don't see it, may have gone on to other things and forgot. the Invincible #19 BB is here, if that's the correct one, and it's kinda listed all by itself: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/invincible-19-blind-bag-exclusive/1/piysoxu . part of the problem there is they have the 19 as part of the title and call the issue #1, so if you search with just Invincible in the title and 19 in the issue number box, the BB doesn't come up. If you search for Invincible Blind Bag as the title with no issue number, it comes up. If you search with just Blind Bag as the title, both of these come up.
MTU one is here: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/marvel-team-up-blind-bag-exclusive/pirqjv . also found it using Marvel Team-up #14 and Any type. They don't use the #14 in the search results title, so dunno why they do with the Invincible, so maybe they'll get that matching eventually. Must be a pain to figure out how to list these and with what series.
I'm guessing since the BB's weren't published by Marvel, then CPG won't list them under the corresponding Marvel titles.
And I noticed there's two series with same dates of Invincible Universe Battle Beast--seems to be dupes, as #1E is the same in both: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/invincible-universe-battle-beast/pisqcx and https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/invincible-universe-battle-beast/pisqcy
Fun with variants/exclusives..

Thats messy. Best way to organize it (in my opinion) is to have "Team-Up" and "Invincible" listed as variants under same title and issue number as they are exactly that, a variant of each specific issue.

I think the problem still stands as the blind bag is listed as a variant. If it was a variant you would be able to price it. You can not price it without opening it to check comic's condition. Most of all it could not be graded as it would be removed from the bag (I should not have to explain this) ceasing to be the blind bag and then existing as the comic it contained.

Thanks for answer collectibleshop.

yeah, it's a bit squirrely how they list these. These two are actually not listed as variants tho and CPG has 'figured' the values at about $20 for 9.4, assume based on auction and other sales. But for your OWN collection listing, of course you'd have to open it to check condition to assign a value, but that's up to you. Generally, MOST collectors have abandoned the 'it's worth more in a sealed bag' notion over the years, that's a marketing gimmick, and conservation experts advise bagged comics to be removed from the bags too. If sent in to be pro-graded, they're gonna open the bags too (and not send them back), and people will pay whatever they think the grade is worth. Since you know what comic is supposed to be in the bags eventually, and as long as they are a BB variant only, then no harm in opening it (and keeping the bag somewhere), in my opinion, but that's up to each collector. I haven't gone to see what the bag looks like, so dunno what it states about issue number or other text on it, but if these comics only come in the blind bags, then once everyone knows what it is, then no real point in keeping it bagged except for 'purists', cuz if you see a raw one for sale you know it was a blind bag edition.
I agree they should be listed as variants under whatever Invincible series they correspond with too, so maybe CPG will do that if they read this thread. you can contact ronbatman if you want a more direct pleading, but he's very busy at the moment from what I've been told. but at least now you can catalog them.
