Adding "The Boys" Jamie Tyndall C2E2 Virgin Variant cover to my collection I noticed the inside cover and indicia have Dynamite as the publisher but the database has it under Wildstorm. Mistake or did both publishers an exact special edition cover? My edition is exact to picture.

My guess? If it's a reprint of issue #1, it got submitted as a variant of the original issue #1 printed by WildStorm.
Looks like Dynamite has the rights now, so they are the ones who printed this issue.
No idea the magic that would need to be worked to have it show under the series but with a different publisher.
Or should it get its own listing with a note stating it's a variant of the original WS release?

Tough call. Not sure how accurate we want to be. Heres a pic of the indicia. It does say 1st Printing but with the year 2024 its not the original first print. Not sure the work involved but it should be under Dynamite for people who may look up items by publisher but I think we need at least a note.

Ugh. Yeah, rights went to Dynamite in 2007 so all those variants need moving. Thanks for pointing it out and I’ll get it done as long as the system doesn’t bug out on me
