For several years now we have organized the newsstand and direct copies a certain way. As of yesterday, we changed it.

All direct copies will be the main issue regardless of the Age: Bronze, Copper, or Modern.
All Newsstand copies will be second or "B" if a Direct copy exists.

We needed this consistency for a project we are working on and you will soon see.

yay, and long overdue. will make it much easier to go down series lists and stop the confusion over why some Newsies/Directs are A and some are B. Helps submitters too.

It made sense when it was closer to an even split. For the last decade you'd be hard pressed to find a newsstand copy.
Having the most popular cover as the main/primary cover really is the way to go.
I look forward to seeing what this shift might be for!
