I've noticed over the last few weeks that there are quite a few new issues released on Wednesdays that aren't showing up in the price guide, sometimes for weeks. Is it just because of the amount of books released every week? I find there are quite a few variant issues that aren't in the price guide either, mostly dealer exclusives and ratio variants.

You must remember that there are literally hundreds and hundreds of books released every week, regular, variant, exclusives, etc, that it just takes time to get them all entered, approved etc. just be patient, they will get into the data base. You also need to realize that there are a LOT of volunteers, as well as the full time staff at CPG, that work after hours to complete some of these. Many of us do have regular full time jobs/family and we do try to get to them as quickly as possible.

to add a little more info from admin RonBatman from a ways back: "We enter roughly 400 to 500 books each week with new comics alone. Variants can be in the same range depending on what's released. Store variants are not on lists from Diamond or other distributors. This takes time and effort. Please do not submit variants to my email or the forum. Use our automated system so that some people aren't jumping to the front of the line by submitting on the forum. After submitting the scan, it will go through our approval process. We cannot make any promises as to when the variant will be added because it depends on the number of variants submitted."
So note that CPG isn't sent the store exclusives and many other variants, so unless a staffer gets some, they have to wait for members who have them to submit them. Which we can't do at the moment cuz of the bugs they're hopefully working on.
