if you search paradise X and use 'All Types' or Special in the Comic Type dropdown, all those one-shots are listed.
the other stuff an admin can take care of.

Ahh. You'd think that "All Types" would be the default search results. ... So, what's the difference between these titles, which show up as "Special" titles and say something like "Civil War: Files" or "Dark Reign: Files," which doesn't show up under "Special" but under "Issues"?

well, for 1 thing, the Paradise X ones say 'Special' right there on the cover, and the other ones don't, they're just 'regular' one-shots, and no, it doesn't always make much sense to me either how stuff is categorized. An admin can explain it more, maybe, and how they came to decide on what the default search is. Most times now I just use All Types and scroll away when trying to find all these 'missing issues' that aren't missing.

Issue "#X (13)" is listed as "Paradise X: X Vol. 1, No. 1" in the indicia and should also be listed as its own title in the database.
Some sites agree that while the indicia is as you describe that it should be listed as the closing book for the regular series. I’ve made a notation in the facts for the book outlining the tidbit.

I’ve added the variant and do understand that it is currently showing oddly since the base has a #nn number and i am unable to use #nn, so this has a #1 issue number. @Ron or another admin with powers can bring them in alignment with either a #nn or #1 as the issue number:
