Came with Ozzy Osbourne's most recent album (also called Patient Number 9). Published by Image Comics with Todd McFarlane as the writer and cover artist. Jonathon Glapion as the interior artist.

some sellers say it's limited to 5,000, but the website just says limited edition, but likely it's stated in the package.
CGC census info says: Art Comments: Todd McFarlane story & cover, Jonathan Glapion art
e*** prices are all over the place as usual, most are for the whole CD or LP & comic package, but the site still says they have it for $19.98 for the CD package, or at least it loads in the shopping cart that way. There's a foil cover variant too, but can't find a good pic of an unsigned copy so far, so not gonna waste more time on it.

Yea, the one I have graded is the foil copy. I kinda thought they all were. I ordered 2 copies of the album, one I opened to get the comic (and the cool blue records) one I've left sealed. I have no idea if the sealed one I have is the foil version or the regular.

just so others know, you can't see the census stuff unless you're a Collector's Society member, but that's free to sign up for

Someone needs to scan one somewhere. and the foil is so similar to the regular cover it's hard to tell the difference in pics, like on Ozzy's site with that blue smoke set. I could crop out just the comic, but it looks the same as the regular pic one. no biggie, CPG can list a foil version and just wait for someone to find a pic some day.

based on usual CPG standards, a signed copy wouldn't do, as it may confuse collectors since there are normal unsigned ones, so you don't want people to think there's only signed copies, although most are, going by the CGC census. I don't think it's that important at this point to have a pic of the foil version since they both have gold ink titles and look almost identical in the pics I've found. Eventually a scan of an unsigned copy will show up on e*** or google images that's usable. No biggie either way. if you scan yours and it comes out ok, I assume you can crop out the CGC case to the edge of the comic.

Do you have any others from 1 of the other album sets to compare? I'm beginning to think there's no variant edition. All the pics on Ozzy's site of the comic look the same, but there's no stand-alone ones of just the comic. The ones on e*** are inconclusive due to mostly bad pics or square-on good pics that all make the title look the same, so hard to tell if it's gold foil or just gold ink. CGC has been known to make mistakes with variants that do and don't exist, so they may not be correct either. I've notified them of multiple variant identification problems myself.
And it's not clear if the 'foil' part only refers to the title, or the whole cover, since they can do whole foil covers of course, but since only the title is in gold, I'd think it's only the title that would be foil. You or Xvipah could clear that up for us. I just emailed Sony Music to ask them if there were 2 versions of the comic, so will post if/when they answer.
So you can take some pics and attach them to a post, but unless you have both supposed versions, it may not tell us much. Use the 'attach files' button at the bottom of the post area.

All I can tell you is that the version I have does not look like the picture on the official one Ron posted above
The title is in gold on both, but other than that they look different to me. Like Ozzy's face and all the hands are also gold, it says "Foil Edition" on the slab itself, etc... Also, if you look at the link I posted above, it says "+ Gold Foil Cover Comic Book" even though it shows the regular one (I'ma guess lazy marketing or that the foil ones were all sealed already)

Also, I can't tell you how freaking hard it is to get a photo of a slabbed comic without glare, reflections, etc.. I'm trying my scanner on photo mode now to see if it can get a good scan of it.

I just went to CGC census and they have two versions listed....the normal one and the "FOIL" one...So like I mentioned before I have two unopened Deluxe Vinyl box sets and I'll pull one out and take a pic and attach it here in a few minutes....peace out.
