A few days ago someone submitted prices for a few of the W.G. (Wogan) Publications Mickey Mouse comics, as 1 cent, and I messaged them to tell them that's the Aus. price, not US, and CPG doesn't use the foreign prices in their cover price column. didn't get a reply, but saw that the cover prices subs are cleared off at the moment, so went and checked the title.
https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/mickey-mouse/rnxwo . haven't looked at all 300+, but saw that a few that have pics have the 1' shilling price listed under the cover price, as well as noting it in the subtitle info. like #1 has 9D for 9 pence, but it's .09 in the cover price columns which denotes 9 CENTS. #2 same thing, has that 'Price is 1'- shilling (.10cents)' notation, but has .01 as the cover price. https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/mickey-mouse/2/thurir
I've long been told that's the wrong thing to do, so letting someone know, if they want to fix it. A few others down the page are like that too, but since there's few pics, the majority have nothing for cover price.
This happens with the data submissions with all regularity, so it might help to add some info somewhere on that page and also maybe in the price submission popup box (so people see it before they do it) that 'prices should only be the US prices on the cover if there is one, otherwise leave it blank'. that will help with most stuff except Canadian variants that use dollars but only show the Canadian price.
and it would be very helpful if there was info ON the verify page about how to delete a mistake. I tell people all the time, most have no idea they CAN do it, much less how. Casper posted some good info about how to do submission stuff, so even posting a link to that or in a popup or separate CPG page with that and other info would help people, if they bother to read the intro paragraph that is.

I was a bit tired when I approved that. Forgot to change the amount when I approved them. I changed the shilling to what it should be .12 cents equivalent. and the 9 pence is 9 cents equivalent. It is the price of the books that why I wrote them in the info box. I had no idea you sent a message to them, my apologies for taking that info from you. I too have asked CPG to add a drop down box for selecting a correct amount for a book/title. I never really got an answer for that either (maybe its time it happened). It's unfair that any foreign price it has to be in American dollars/cents when these books are certainly not.

You've been busy!
As for the US prices being adjusted for the equivalent foreign prices, I believe I was told by an admin to just leave the US price field blank and that CPG just notes the foreign price in the sub title. I figured part of that was saving the time looking up what the equivalent US price WAS way back then or for newer stuff, as that changes over time of course.
You wouldn't have any way of knowing about me sending a PM to the submitter of the MM comics, so no problem there.
One problem I can see with a different currency drop down box is many US people will have no clue which to pick if they don't recognize the money symbols on the covers, especially when the country may not be noted ion the cover too. CPG would have to have a lengthy drop down menu with the currency names and symbols, and maybe they feel that's pretty time consuming to set up.
Did you get the pic of the Pinky and the Brain #1 with the DC Universe box I sent you directly?
