What is the deal with these books? They just came out and already selling on ebay for anywhere between $17-29.

Dynamic Forces is selling the premium covers for $50 (not signed or graded).
Not that I'm complaining. I'll take $25 for a $3 book that just came out.

The main draw is a code in each comic that unlocks something in the game. So a lot of the gamers are willing to pay a premium.

yeah, I think if you get all the covers you get some kind of special batman skin to play in the game. I don't play the game so have no real interest in the books.. I do hope that DC doesn't try to introduce some new big 'important' character in them and make them some kind of key that I need to think about :-)
