I see that, for example, these Marvel direct editions of Shogun Warriors #1 and #2 are listed as published by Whitman:
https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/shogun-warriors/pkwwor
Whitman had nothing to do with publishing these books. No mention of Whitman in any of the indicia. Whitman sold/distributed some Marvel direct editions in Whitman polybags, but they're Marvel-published books, first printing direct editions that were also found outside of the Whitman bags.
I know how to report a missing variant, but not sure how to report an incorrectly listed series. Not a huge deal, but it can be annoying trying to sell early Marvel direct editions to collectors who are under the impression that anything with a diamond box is a Whitman reprint.
A hill I'm prepared to be injured on.

Yes, they are Whitmans, likely distributed in polybags. Blank UPC boxes and the diamond price box are standard Whitman signs of that era. comics.org also calls them Whitmans: https://www.comics.org/issue/930737/cover/4/
these have been noted as Whitmans by everyone forever now. If you look under Whitman as a publisher you'll find tons of titles just like this from other publishers that whitman reprinted or distributed under their logo, especially Gold Key titles. So CPG lists them as Whitmans/Alternate Publishers depending on which way you find them. Fact of life here. edited by collectibleshop on 4/6/2021
