So issue 1 of Proctor Valley Road comes out tomorrow. Are you going to pick up a copy? Horror is so hot right now it's crazy! Will this be another Something Is Killing The Children? Guess we'll have to wait and see

I don't know. The first issue did not impress. There was a bit of backstory, but not much action. Last couple of pages. It's a period story, late 60's. Tons of cursing and racial slurs and such. It almost feels like it's trying too hard. I can't see the book taking off. I'll definitely not be following it.

Just one man's humble opinion. I've been known to be wrong before. I guess I would recommend flipping through it, maybe reading a couple of pages before you decide for sure.

Maybe. It's not as if I was frothing at the mouth for it anyway. There's so much other indy horror going on that I actually do like.
