I was thinking of shipping my lower cost comics in a stiff cardboard envelope. Bag and board them drop them in the envelope and ship them out Media Mail. Does anyone have a particular envelope they like to use?
Thanks! Dave

in case you don't know, it's against the P.O. rules to send comics media mail. they can open it anywhere along the line to check, and then they will bill the recipient for at least 1st class or priority rate, which will make the customer mad, and you'll get a warning letter from them about not doing it again, or they may charge you for the extra postage after the fact, or not take your packages any more, so it's a gamble. I've had comics come in some 'stiff' envelopes, and they almost always have bends in them from shipping. better to add at least 1 piece of regular cardboard inside if there's room, or just use a cardboard sandwich and pay 1st class rate. edited by collectibleshop on 7/15/2020

Thanks I did not know you could not ship comments via media mail. After some additional investigation I found out that most comic books have advertising in them makes them not acceptable as media mail. Thanks for the info it's much appreciated.
