I happened upon this site in September while trying to find out about some comics. My soul mate passed away in late August and he had a bunch comics in storage. There are over 300 of them. Most are Star Wars and Batman, but there are a few others as well. He also has a huge collection of Star Wars items that I have slowly been posting on Ebay. It is a tedious process and I began posting some of the comics on Ebay as well, but I don't have a clue about them or how to price them. I took the postings down because I just don't have the time to post and ship them all. I am aware that I will not get rich by selling them, but it would be nice to get something other than the pennies that the local comic book store offered me without even looking at them or taking an accurate count of them. I would also prefer to have them go to people that will appreciate them. A few have some damage, but the majority of them look like they have been just purchased and never opened. I really just want to put the entire collection for sale and see what happens. I have put most of them into my collection on this site, so far. Is there a way that I can put the entire collection up for sale and allow people to look through it and see if there is anything they need for their collections? Hopefully without spending hours posting them piece by piece? I will be happy to send pictures to anyone that asks for them. I am not a person that collects comics and it really is not something that is of interest to me. I just want to do right by him by taking the time to allow others that have this interest to possibly get items that they have not yet gotten for their collections. Any and all help you may be able to provide would be greatly appreciated!
Jen

I saw in the auction thread of this forum page that people list their entire collections for sale. You could post the number of total comics along with some of the main titles and issues and then see if anyone wants to see pictures. I would pay attention to the cover price of the books, if less than a quarter then maybe look all those up in this site for prices. Others have more experience but that may be a good start.

Jen, First of all, I'm sorry for your loss. Dealing with that kind of thing is difficult enough without adding in collectibles.
On to the comics, knowledge is power. The more you can learn about them the better off you will be. Grading is one of the most important. https://comicspriceguide.com/comic-book-grading I didn't see many Star Wars comics in the collection. Did someone already buy them or have you not entered them?
This is the link that people would need to look at your collection. https://comicspriceguide.com/members/Jring0437
To list an entire collection for sale create a classified ad with details. (it's free) Ron
